  We hired 4 Brothers Renovations to complete a bathroom remodel in July 2023. They originally told us the job would take 4 weeks and it took three months. When they finished, there were several items we were not happy with, the mudding on the drywall was not smooth, the caulk job around the shower and sink was bad, the shower leaked and would not drain correctly. We called ******************* to inform him of the issues and it took him about three weeks to send someone out to look at the issues we outlined. When the person came, they made the mudding job worse, the shower was still leaking water and the shower still was not draining correctly. We called **** again to inform him that we were not happy with what was done and informed him that the tub still was not draining. He sent a plumber out the next day to snake the drain line, which corrected the draining issue for couple days, then it wouldnt drain again. After this we tried calling, texting and emailing **** with no response. Also, when the left they left our garage a mess with tools they left and never returned to get. In February we received notice from the City that the contractors never called for the final inspection. We had the city come out for the final inspection, which failed. We reached out to **** to inform him that the final inspection had failed and he needed to to come correct the issues. **** initially responded about the inspection, but never confirmed that he will come correct the issues. The city inspector and myself have tried contacting him several times with no response. We have until the end of this week for the issues to be corrected from the inspection or we will receive a fine. Also, the shower draining issue got worse and we had to spend $1300.00 to correct the issue because none of our upstairs bathrooms showers / tub would drain. The plumber that fixed the shower said it was not installed correctly.

  I hired 4 Brothers to remodel my bathroom. They were not license ( plumbing) to do the work needed, so the work was halted. I paid them approximately $800 (25% of total) to start the project, my main issue is the plumbing they installed is leaking. It has been leaking for 3 months. They will not return my calls or answer my emails. Plumbing is leaking at solder point. Walls are not plumb, framing is off by 1/2 inch. Never used a level. Electrical needs re-located. to close to faucet toilet connection is too high, can't connect toilet.All work will need to be re-done

  Thank you for your response. In this job me and my partner were doing a full renovation of the bathroom. Every day we made progress the customer would state how she read something online or seen something on ******* about how the job should be done. Me as the professional, would politely correct her and insist that she let us do our job. We barely made it past the "rough" phase of the job before the client asked us to stop working. So not only were we asked/told to stop, we were never given the chance to produce a finished product. Before the start of the job it was instructed to the client that the deposit was NON REFUNDABLE. Seeing as the customer is the one who asked us to stop and the deposit is non refundable, I do not see a refund being given as the reasonable solution to this matter.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  On 2/15 the ****************** called me, in regards to a permit I had applied for on a different project in my home.  While I had them on the phone I asked them about the work 4 brothers were doing.  The village  informed me  the work 4 brothers was doing would require a permit.  I sent ****** a message " and asked him to call the village.  He later that day called me back telling me we need to halt the work.  He would need to hire a plumber to finish the work. 

  The following day, they came and took their tools and I never heard back from them. Since 2/15/23  I have been dealing with a leaking bad solder work. After numerous times calling 4 brothers to repair and never returning my calls.  I filed the complaint, I can not find anyone who wants to come behind their work.  Everyone who comes to give me a bid, never return.  

  4 brothers, either has to return my money, fix the errors, or give me their insurance information so I can file a claim.  

  Enclosed is our text message conversation.  They ended this, because they needed a permit, because they were not license, they could not finish the work.  If the work they completed was to satisfaction I would have no need to file this complaint.  Everything they have done will have to be done over.  They only thing that doesn't need redoing is the demolition, which only included removing the toilet and sink. which they left in my basement for me to dispose off. Lead sink, very heavy and I had to hire and pay  someone to take it out to the trash.
