    The company hit my ac unit in July and caused damage. The gentleman was loud, rude, argumentative and disrespectful about the entire situation. Offering no help at all!

    I am echoing **** *'s comments below. I have had the
    exact (and I do mean exact), same experience with "TurfGator" of
    Lebanon, IL. I used this company for quarterly treatments and
    signed-up with them in January 2022 via phone. I was told by company
    employees that a company technician would be out for treatments, leave
    an invoice, and put a sign in yard. On two consecutive occasions (the
    first two scheduled, after I signed-up for treatments), this did not
    happen. This past Sunday (31 July 2022) I received a text message that
    a technician would be out on my lawn the next day. I watched the
    company truck arrive on Monday, 1 August, and I watched the technician
    who never got out of the truck. No application/treatment was applied to
    my lawn on 1 August and no treatment sign was posted on my lawn. I
    called the company on Wednesday, 3 August and spoke to administrative
    staffer ******* who said she would ask the technician if he actually
    applied a treatment to my lawn on 1 August. ******* called me back on
    the same day and said the technician could not remember whether or not
    he applied a treatment to my lawn. I mean, come on, this is
    ridiculous. I know that he did not apply a lawn treatment, and I know
    that he did not post a sign in my yard. I believe this "TurfGator"
    operation is a fraud- and a scam- that other, potential customers in
    this metro area should be aware of. If you do call as a potential, new
    customer, you'll definitely have to endure the sales pressure
    techniques used by the Production Managers and the primary Sales guy,
    who work on commission while trying to secure new accounts/customers. I
    promptly cancelled my service agreement while I was on the phone with
    ******* on 3 Aug. ******* will not answer specific questions regarding
    the company’s performance, and the company apparently employs
    technicians who cannot “remember” if they treated a specific lawn within
    a 48 hour period. I do not recommend this company. Mascoutah, IL

    During the initial phone conversation, our staff was instructed to get any and all information regarding the call. Our technician needed some time to go over his route to be sure all stops were completed in an orderly fashion, as they visit ***** stops in a day. After looking through his notes, our technician informed us that he was there and he noticed a black fungus in the lawn that was noted on the invoice for the customer. It was also noted that this will not do damage and will grow out as they mow. The flag in the lawn was placed near red brick landscape as well. When we called back, we offered to have the technician call directly, to go over any and all concerns regarding the lawn. That was refused. We also offered to do a free follow up visit to be ensure to be the application was effective. This was also refused. We apologize for the frustration and we have removed the balance from the account.
