    ***** from Dupage Pump (also called Dupage well and pump) replaced a submersible pump in my backyard on 7/23/21. He charged $3220 for it. Central to me agreeing to this replacement was a 5 year warranty he mentioned when he suggested replacing the pump as well as when he gave me a receipt for the payment (attached with this complaint). In the last week of June, my irrigation system stopped working. He came in and after looking at the pump said the pump needs replacement. He offered to send me a new quote for a new pump. I brought up the warranty. He said the pump manufacturer (STA-RITE) did not honor a recent warranty and would not honor mine. I said this was unfair since warranty was a constant assurance he (*****) had given when we first met reg the replacement in 2021. I have called his office and his personal cellphone over ten times since then. He has yet to return a single phone call of mine. A lady in the office says she is conveying messages to him. A nonfunctional pump has meant significant damage to grass on two properties that the system waters - my neighbors and mine. We simply cannot have this stalemate of a situation. His non responsiveness makes finding a solution impossible. Commensurate to the warranty, he needs to get me a new pump.
