      I was in an automobile accident on January 11, 2023. My car was towed by Flash towing services, which unbeknownst to me was operating illegally in the ***************, **. The phone numbers provided by the company do not work and I have not been able to contact them or retrieve my vehicle. I would like my vehicle returned.

      We were involved in a car accident around 7:45 pm in Little Village and a tow truck from Flash Towing and Recovery claiming that they were sent from State Farm, processed paper work, and confirmed they would be towing the car to a residential address in ***********, **. They picked up the car around 10:08 pm and as of 8:35 am, our car has not been delivered to the residential address and we have not been notified of the location of the truck or car. A friend saw the tow truck and our car behind a ********** in Little Village where the tow truck driver was looking through our car and possessions in the car. We have filed a police report with the ******* ***************** and have reported the car stolen, however, at this moment we are only left with the possibility that our car will be at their lot in ******, ** and worried about having to pay a hefty fine to get it back despite them lying to us and telling us the car would be delivered to a residential address in ***********. We are unsure of what our next steps will be but want to make sure that residents are aware of the scam and how this business targets vulnerable people.
