      I bought two In-Wall PIR Sensor with Nightlight (product # IOS-***-**). ought these in 2024 and installed them. Now they stopped functionong. I filed a warrantee claim as I was unsure about how long the warrantee is for. I was initially asked for proof of purchase (which I do not have as I threw away the receipt) but was told that they can validate eligibility by checking the "three digit code" at the back of the unit. I have been going back and forth with the claim staff and I sent them whatever exists on the back of my unit and they said that this is not the code. I asked if they can send me a picture of a similar unit so that I can know what they are looking for and the claim person (*** ****) refused to send me info about that !

      I purchased a Jacuzzi pool heater November 6th 2021 with a 2-year warranty. In October of 2023 the unit quit working completely. Believing it was an electrical problem I hired an electrician to come out but that wasn't it. At that point we called intermatic and began the warranty process. The first technician came out and told us if we hadn't turn the unit off it would have blown up part of our house. He ended up replacing the compressor and wiring harness. After he left the warning light began flashing & intermatic insisted it was a water flow problem. We had ****** pool repair come out and the owner told us there was no flow problem but we insisted he increase the flow because that's what intermatic told us to do. Once he was finished the light kept flashing. Intermatic sent out a different technician who worked on the machine and said everything seem to be working fine but the light continues to flash. Today they told us they would send somebody out to disconnect the light. We asked for reimbursement for ****** pool repair and were refused. We were told repeatedly by intermatic that if the light was flashing there is a problem with the unit but now they just want to disconnect the light. At this point we would just like a refund and a reimbursement for our funds spent at their request. We will use ANY other heater besides theirs.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      A manager contacted me offering to refund $112 to make up for their multitude of mistakes. I advised that was not acceptable to me and that it was a very half-hearted attempt at an apology and did not fix things. I said I would accept the money but that it was not the amount owed. I had originally attempted to get a refund for the entire faulty unit which I was denied. I at least wanted to be reimbursed for the cost of the parts and labor that intermatic INSISTED was the cause of the issues, but it turned out they were wrong and I was out the money for the unnecessary repairs. They offered $112 refund to cover a small portion of the repairs they forced me to get, when it was actually $400 they should have reimbursed. If they still refuse to correct the issues, I refuse to say that there is a satisfactory resolution to the problem. I would rather keep the truth out there for the public to see the shady business dealings done by this company.

      Company sent the wrong product numerous times. Contractor came each time trying to fix the issue and was unable due to company sending the wrong product. I was charged by the contractor each time but this was entirely not my fault. Clearly it was the company sending the wrong parts. Company is unwilling to absorb the labor cost. How unfair!
