I will echo the same comments left by ***** (apparently not a coincidence), because unfortunately TopTec has proven to be nothing but a company of scam artists. Ive been trying to get my A/C issue resolved for the past 5 years! Each time the rotating technician finds a different problem with my A/C. First time I need a new coil, second time I needed new wiring, third time I needed to do a HVAC overhaul and add return air vents, 4th time I now needed to replace my existing A/C unit which was brand new when I moved in a year before, but all of a sudden I need an entire new condenser! Each visit is a new technician, from the revolving door of techs that go through this place. Not once have I had the same tech come, and the new one had no idea what the last one did. I went down the same rabbit hole of an endless and continuous game of having to fix one more thing and it will work but unfortunately it never does. Ive paid over $15K in A/C repairs and STILL dont have a functioning A/C unit! Dont bother calling in either, because once ***** the Office Manager gets on the phone, youll regret ever calling. She is the most rude, nasty and condescending person I've ever dealt with, and shes supposed to be the **************** help?! Yikes! Through all of the thousands of dollars Ive spent, hours on the phone, and countless visits, nothing is ever resolved with TopTec. Just an endless loophole to continue to scam you out of money until you surrender or move on. Which I have, just call literally any other company and they will be much cheaper (TopTec charges 3x its competitors for no reason), and actually fix your issue, unlike TopToec. Theres no possible way any of these 5-Star reviews are from actual customers, just family and friends of the company trying to pad their reviews, trust me when I say RUN AWAY FROM TOPTEC!

In response to this review, first we want to convey that TOPTEC takes customers issues very seriously, especially a good long-standing customer that ********************** has done a lot of work for. This work includes an A/C System, but also included a hot water heater, UV germicidal Air Scrubber, duct work modifications, high efficiency air filter system, electrical rewiring and even rebuilding a soffit around duct work in a closet. So, the total money paid isnt just for an a/c system that is having issues.To be clear, an A/C system has 3 basic components, an evaporator coil, a condenser, and a line set, (copper lines going from the evaporator to the condenser.) In this residence the line set is unfortunately in a non-accessible place, specifically running under a concrete slab making it very difficult to service. In the original proposal TOPTEC clearly recommended for all three A/C components to be replaced and all were quoted up front. However, in this case the customer eventually only wanted the evaporator coil and condenser replaced and refused the replacement of the line set. And now because of that, the system is losing freon pressure from the old, degraded line set causing the A/C to not cool properly. Toptec has since made numerous no charge service calls by refilling the system with lost freon, but this isnt the solution. We understand and sympathize with the customers frustration, however, the old line set still needs to be replaced as was made clear in the very first proposal. Its unfortunate that this customer feels he has paid enough for an A/C and feels its TOPTECs fault as per this review.Toptec stands behind everything we do as is evident by the thousands of 5-star reviews it has received over the last few decades by servicing with integrity the entire Lake and *********** areas. But how can TOPTEC take full responsibility for this issue if a customer refuses recommendations that are still needed to resolve this issue, as was in this case.Review fromJan P

Had our furnace serviced by technician ****************** - he was so thorough, knowledgeable, explaining everything as he went along. His honesty was impressive as was his professional expertise. He had to complete the job in two service calls since additional parts were needed. We had our furnace and air conditioner originally installed by TopTec many years ago. We wanted someone familiar with the product we purchased to address our concerns and were very pleased with the entire process. I would recommend technician ******* from TopTec. He proved himself to be a great ambassador for his employer,TOPTEC Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

***** came to service my tub faucet and had to do additional work behind it- he was thorough, answered my questions, and left the bathroom clean. If all of ***************** staff is of this quality, their owner should be proud.TOPTEC Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

***** was the best type of tech: thorough, attentive to detail and very safety-focused when it comes to what is in the customer's best interests. Outstanding service company, I am very impressed by the level of professionalism that everyone at those company has demonstrated to me and my family. This company understands that we must change how we are living our lives in our homes and businesses. We must become an ecological sensitive community And take steps to remove and reduce carbon emissions. I have a massive solar roof of 34 panels and this is the only heating and cooling company that I am aware of that has state of the art heat pumps for HVAC and a brand new design of a hybrid water heater that works on the principal of a heat pump. By using these heating and cooling pieces of equipment in my home I will reduce my natural gas consumption and carbon emissions by at least 95%. The efficiency of these heating and cooling devices is so high and when coupled with the use of my solar system the savings in comparison to using natural gas which will probably double by next year is enormous. I believe the savings over a 15 year. Will actually pay for the cost of the equipment being installed. Considering that the government is adding in rebates/contributions, incentives It only gets better ! I am grateful that the owner of this company ********************* is an innovator and has the foresight to direct his company to be able to contribute to our community with these products and his company services.TOPTEC Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

We have used many different HVAC businesses in our many years here. I have to say this company hasnt let us down. Even the girls who take the calls. They arent afraid of a difficult situation. They do the extra work and get the job done. Our builder ******************* left us with a mess.
