    first ordered the incorrect transmission for the replacement. Then when they did get the correct one installed the Labor on the invoice doubled from the previous promised amount. On top of that the car broke down less then 24 hours later and the shop said it was fine when it left so this is our problem, if we can get it over there they will look at it when they can. When we asked for the serial number, or any information on the transmission, we were told they don't document that because people don't ask for that. We did because we noticed it's not in the paperwork. Now we have a car that's bricked, they won't fix, won't refund and have no information on the supposed replacement transmission. Oh plus we need to pay off $2,400 of the $4,966 within 90 days or that loaned part will have exorbitant interest added making that alone $5k.

    The customer is misstating several facts.  We did not order the wrong transmission.   The supplier shipped the wrong unit and then shipped the correct transmission when advised of the error on their part.  The labor quoted and authorized was to remove the original transmission disassemble it and diagnose the issue.  Once we confirmed a replacement transmission was required, we requoted labor to include installing the replacement unit which was authorized.  The customer required third party financing which included an interest free for 90 days offer.  This component as established directly through the finance provider was disclosed in detail and is not connected to any service we provide.  If there are any issues with the operation of the transmission and the repairs we provided, the customer may return for diagnostic confirmation and repairs under the terms of the warranty.   Therefore, we request this file be closed.
