Zebra Technologies sold me 20 of their TC27 phones and they have software issues and do not work. They agreed to a refund, minus a 25% restocking fee. I reluctantly agreed. Then they refused to refund any amount at all. They will not stand behind their product and refuse to follow up timely. I hope no one else buys these phones and gets stuck with a $10,000 loss like I did. I would encourage anyone to walk away. Service and follow up at Zebra is non-existent.Customer Answer

My name is Hernn ******. I am the deputy manager of ******************************************. A few weeks ago I contacted ZEBRA TECNOLOGY about the following issue. A ***************** called INVERSION COMERCIAL Y SERVICIOS SAS with colombian tax ID number ************* who is a member of the ZEBRAs PARTNER CONNECT PROGRAM submitted into a public tender in ******** a certificate to proof completion on training on the PTCAR-7007 ZEBRA ZXP 7 PRINTER. When I saw the certificate submitted by Zebras Technology partner in ******** I inmediately realized that something was not correct about that certificate. In all my years of experience it was the first time that I saw a training certifcate issued to an entire company. Certificates are issued to individuals, to the person who actually took the training. I them proceeded to get with Mrs ***** ***** who is the Vice President. Mrs ***** kindly took my request and forwarded me to Mrs ********* ******** who is the Director, Global Channel Operations. What I wanted to know was if the certificate submitted by ZEBRAs partner in ******** was real or not. On a message dated 18/10/2024, Mrs ********* manifested " ***** has forwarded me your communications on the training certificate that was submitted by Zebra Partner Inversion ********************* SAS. Certifications at Zebra are earned by an individual within a partner company and not the entire company. What I can confirm is that **** Miguel ******** participated in and passed the course in May 2024". This proved my point! The certificate accrediting a compliance of training issued by ZEBRA was actually submitted to *************** ******** himself and not to ZEBRAs partner company in ********. Altering a certificate to demonstrate experience in any field or to demonstrate the completion of a course that you didnt actually took is illegal in every respect and it is a criminal offense here in ******** and obviously everywhere in the world.Initial Complaint

The company's merchandise is faulty and the customer service does not reply. My printer and software have stopped working and I've had cases opened for over 2 weeks. I don't think they actually have a functioning customer service team.Initial Complaint

Purchased 2 brand new ZD450 printers from one of their authorized dealers, spent around $500 and the **************** heads are broken on both. How convenient both of them failing at the same time. Now to get them fixed they want $280ea to repair them when I can buy a brand new printer ZD420 for $290 on Amazon. They are making low quality printers but charging such ap premium. I have a ZP450 printer that I have had for over 10 years and still working great, but these newer printers at $500ea, last 2-3 years? Both failing at the same time? That has to be some defect.Business Response

Placed an order in June with Zebra Technologies for a total of $5,384.29 - $597.73 of this being an express 2 day shipping upgrade. On 6/17 I was charged for a partial amount of $1,668.42 for 24 boxes of product 24 boxes of product 05319GS08407. 4 months later I was charged $4,267.77 for the remaining product - in all this time there had been no updates, order confirmations, etc. This shipment contained 20 boxes of product ******** which I immeditately returned since it was no longer needed after all that time had passed. Zebra continued to recharge my card an additional 2 times for the order while the return was in proccess even though I had not ordered any additional product. I got a letter in the mail stating I would then only be refunded $2,889.60 of the $4,267.77 and after reaching out to the rep I learned it was because they were waiting for me to return the shipment I received in June to receive the full amount back (meaning they seperately charged me for it in June when I recieved it and AGAIN in October when they went to send the remaining shipment). Dates and details below:10/15/22 only $2889.60 refunded; $1,668.42 is owed to me as a duplicate charge (was initially charged on 6/17 and we kept the product so I am not paying restocking fees on this refund)11/1/22 duplicate charge; $4267.77 owed to me 11/26/22 triple charge; $4267.77 owed to me Total of $10,203.96 is owed back to me in duplicate charges plus the $2,889.60 that they claimed has been processed as a refund, but after 2 weeks still haven't seen come back into my account... grand total of $13,093.56.Any assistance would be appreciatied as they have been extremely difficult to contact and get resolution from. I started conversation with them on 11/11, so it's been nearly a month and the situation keeps getting increasingly worse. Thank you!Business Response

I sent a mobile computer in for screen repair on 7/28/2022 with a turnaround time of 10 days. It is now 8/26/2022 and Zebra hasn't even begun repair yet. Upon multiple inquiries to Zebra, the agent has told me that Zebra is having trouble locating the unit. Upon checking the ***** tracking number, Zebra received the unit on 7/29/2022. I fear at this point that my mobile computer is lost. I have asked Zebra to make it right by sending me a new unit but I can't get anywhere with any of the agents I've talked to. Our mobile computers are critical to business functions and it's unacceptable that Zebra won't make this right.Customer Answer
