We called *** for some construction, because we know he does that. We handed over the insurance money. Right now the roof is half metal and half shingles. The gutters are not up. They called and asked me for more money, and now they have stopped coming. They came and got their trailer one day when we were not home. I came home one day and there was wood in my yard and the garage door was open. I know we keep in closed, always. So, when I went in there they had taken all the ladders, including the ones that belong to my father in law. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact him via phone and email several times and he has completely ghosted me. We hired them last November and we have not seen anyone since before Christmas. This could all be worked out with a simple phone call from him.

Due to health issues, I'm not able to complete this job.  I have referred the customer to others who can finish the job for her.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

She said the business has not been in contact with her to talk about having someone else take over the job. She said the business took her father-in-law's ladders, which she wants returned. She also believes the company owes her a partial refund for work that was not completed. She did not know how much that refund would be.

    Sincerely,
