I went to this repair shop initially because my brake light came on and I had a warranty on them. They did repairs and my brake light went off. It came on again 3 months later. They said that my master cylinder needed to be replaced for a total of ******. I paid for them to do the service as they diagnosed it found that to be the issue. 2 weeks after the repairs the brake light again and there was a clicking noise. They said they changed out the master cylinder because it was defective that should resolve the issue. 4 days later driving home my brakes completely lock up, causing the car to have brake failure. I had the car towed to them and they said they will determine the cause. They claimed to be ordering the part from the ******* dealership and it would be in so they could put the new part of the car. Eventually my car towed the dealership for a second opinion and to address a recall regarding a fuse light on my car. The dealership informed me the brakes were not working properly after the recall and they would diagnose it. The dealership found the issue with the car was due to damage from the aftermarket parts they placed on my car and the wrong type of master cylinder for my vehicle resulting in more extensive damage and needing additional repairs to rectify issues with the brakes. I contacted the car repair shop and went to them in person to inform them of the matter. Originally they should they would take ownership for the poor services they did but they ended up refusing to pay for the damages they caused as a result of being dishonest and putting aftermarket parts on my vehicle. I did not consent to them using aftermarket parts nor was I aware of them using such parts. They poor services resulted in me spending an additional ******** for the dealership to replace the master cylinder with a hyundai brand master cylinder and to replace the damage caused to my brake booster as a result of the brake damages caused by the wrong part. Total of ******** spent.
