    We have been using Kleen Sweep Maintenance to clean our chimney every year for 23 years,and do not know how long he has been pretending to clean the chimney and simply going through the motion and charging us. We last had our chimney cleaned September 27, 2023. On February 2, 2024, we had a fire going and smoke started backing up into our house. The next day I called Kleen Sweep Maintenance and spoke to the owner. **** had explained my concerns. He told me that it couldve been that it was too warm outside, or my furnace was going, or some other weird explanation. The next day we had another fire and the exact same thing happened and we called a different chimney sweep to come and inspect the chimney. After the new chimney company looked in the fireplace and chimney they said we were lucky to have not had a chimney fire and were possibly two or three fires away from the entire Creosote that was built up in there starting on fire. They removed over 10 gallons of creosote and ash from the chimney. There is no way that couldve been built up over a few months. Because there was so much creosote built up they had to do an additional deglazing service. This cost us a total of $885 and we would like Kleen Sweep Maintenance to reimburse us for that.
