    Good Afternoon,I'm emailing you because an issue occurred with an "contractor" that I found through Thumb Tack. He came to my home 12/11/2023. The contractor or company goes by the name of "MD Masonry Contractor". The issue is that I hired them to fix the leaks that I had in my basement so I could get my basement "finished". The first issue was the contractor cut the wood of my deck to get to the area he was working on without my permission. I told him that cutting my deck without my permission was not acceptable but he said he would correct his mistake. My deck is now weak and and the "correction" he claimed he would do looks terrible because he didn't replace the wood he just tried to put the wood he cut back but it looks "tacky and uneven". So after he was finished my husband and I was very unhappy with our deck but we were more focused on the leaks repairs. After he was done we thought the leaks was repaired and we signed an 10 year warranty incase we ran into future issues with his work. On 1/28/2024 I noticed water leaking and made contact immediately. He have been avoiding me since that day.

    We did our job correctly and top professional you messaged us saying you had water coming in we said ok I will have look and repair it for you
    then you told me you hired a new contractor to finish your basement and had no water issues till he came and installed the drywalls
    Then he called me and said the water is coming in due to your sump pump And pipes as and he would repair it
    It was him who caused these problems not us when we provided warranty it covers for the work we done not if you hire someone else and they damage your sump pump and expect us to repair it for you when we never touch it we repaired your foundation did it correct this is a new problem your having with a different contractor not the work we done.
    We have been in business a long time and have many happy satisfied customers that never had issues. But they realize Warranty covers work that we did.
    We don't cover someone else's bad work.
