This complaint is submitted due to the failure of Mindset Enterprises refusal to comply with its contractual warranty clause regarding defects arising from faulty workmanship. Attached is a copy of the Contract that we entered with Mindset Enterprises LLC on July 26 2023 for a Master Bath Remodel. Work on the project started on November 7, 2023. The date of completion is not definitive. We made the final payment on December 10, 2023, but the final work to complete outstanding issues and details lingered on well into 2024. On December 19, 2023 we informed Mindset that the roof where they had cut an opening to install an exhaust fan was leaking. They did come out the next day to inspect the roof and applied some caulk/sealant around the opening. On November 30, 2024 we informed the Contractor that their fix did not work and the roof was once again leaking. Their initial response on December 4, 2024 was that the owner was recovering from a heart attack and they would not be able to help us. We responded that, per our contract Mindset Enterprises warrants for a period of one year from the date of completion against any defects arising from faulty workmanship. Subsequently, the Contractor responded with a text message stating that they have already done a lot of work for us and dont contact me anymore.Certainly, the leak in the roof is a defect arising from faulty workmanship, and was within the warranty period. We have contacted ****** Exteriors who have inspected the roof and determined that to properly fix the roof it will cost $850 to remove, replace and correctly install the vent. Attached is their invoice and our receipt confirming payment for them to proceed with the ******* this time, the total amount of our claim is $850, pending any additional drywall damage that may occur due to the leak.. If you need any additional information, please let me know.Your prompt attention to this matter will be appreciated.
