  Jr's Garage is overpriced. There is a huge mark up on parts. My sister took her Jeep there for work on her brakes. I am contacting BBB because I paid the bill over the phone. I was told the price for the repairs would be $458.00. I knew that this was high but she was there and the brakes needed to be done. The owner (or helper) inspected the vehicle for other issues. The list including parts costs was shared with me. I began researching the parts costs. I was outraged at the markup on the parts. The vehicle was taken to a second mechanic for another opinion. Many of the repairs stated did NOT to be done. One month later the "fixed" brake began to fail. Knowing that the second garage had no openings for repairs until June 11 I found another garage and the owner inspected the Jeep. The cost of the repairs is a fraction of what Jr"s wanted. Jr's was contacted about the issue he offered to redo the work. We could bring in the caliper (now ruined) hose and fluid and the pads were under warranty. He would charge another $100.00. I questioned him about the price markup. For instance, he said the pads cost him$99.98 and he marked them up to $104.97. The helper told us that was incorrect. They cost $56.00. That is just one markup. I guess $130.00 an hour is not enough.

  My car's battery had died and being new to the area, I was left scrambling to find a mechanic who could take care of the problem. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I was directed to Jr's Garage and I couldn't be happier with how things worked out. Jerimiah was very thorough in explaining what happened, what the process for replacement would be and the cost involved. He was upfront, honest and did terrific work. He is a one-man show in the garage as he wears all the hats involved with running a business. While that is a lot to deal with, he doesn't short-cut any of his work. His personal attention to making sure my vehicle was running properly, getting it back in a reasonable amount of time and standing behind his work was very impressive. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back to him whenever necessary.

  JR has done an excellent job with my vehicle each time I've had to take it in to his shop. He's been very straight forward with what needs fixed and when it will need fixed. Each time I've gone in he's gone above and beyond getting my truck in, fixed, and back to me as quickly as possible. Would recommend to anyone.

  Jr's Garage is a family owned business that stands on integrity. The owner, Jeremiah, is amazing at explaining what is wrong with cars. I appreciate his patience with his customers as well.
