    On January 7th, 2025 at 8am, I went to SIH Urgent Care in ******, **. I was hovered over in pain and told the front desk workers that I was there because I have kidney stones and need something for the pain. They said great we will get you seen in just a moment and then they had me swipe my card for the $150 visit. After waiting a few minutes, I was called back and asked to pee in a cup prior to go into the back room. When I got to the room, I was told that they dont treat kidney stones there and that I would have to go to the ** for that because they cant do ct scans. I asked why nobody told me that from the very beginning and why I have been waiting in pain when I cant be treated there. They apologized. So I left right away and headed to the emergency room at *********. The staff at ********* was incredible, they confirmed that I did in fact have kidney stones, and they treated me for it. They also told me how ridiculous it was how *** handled the situation knowing they cant treat kidney stones. Now, I keep receiving bills from SIH urgent care saying that I need to pay for the tests that were done. Im not sure if it were from the cup I peed in But I wouldve never peed in a cup had they have just been upfront with me from the beginning that they cant treat me. Ive tried to call SIH urgent care throughout these past few weeks, and I kept being told that the manager, **** **********, would contact me back within 48 hours. That never happened the first three times I called. Finally I got a hold of his direct line via his business card, and he finally got back to me. He told me he would have to speak to his director, *** ********, and then hed get back to me. Well, I just got off the phone with him and they decided that I do need to go ahead and pay the bill and the only explanation was that I need to pay for services that were received, and when I explained to Mr. ********** that there were no services received He would just say I understand.

    I spoke to the patient 5/8/2025 and charges of $150 are being waived.  Patient was advised she would receive a letter in the mail.  Patient is satisfied with the resolution.
