    **** *****, Steinhour Construction, gave us a quote on bathroom, kitchen and window work. Six months ago we gave him a sizable deposit. The bathroom was finally completed but the kitchen and windows have not and Steinhour Construction has ceased all communication. We have repeatedly demanded our remaining deposit money in the amount of $4,465.00 back. He always claims trouble with his phone, which Ive noticed in previous complaints, and his wifes health issues. DO NOT deal with this company.

    I contracted with ********** Construction to complete a remodel of my kitchen. The contract for $11,025 was signed on 08/07/2023 and the owner was written a check for $3,676 up front. Since then, the owner has refused to answer my phone calls, text messages and emails. I have received two texted messages in nearly 9 months which simply stated that his phone had not been working and he would get back with me. No work has been completed and no proof has been provided that any materials have been ordered. The owner will not respond to my attempts at contacting him. I had sent a demand letter in February 2024 and will send another next week demanding a refund prior to filing a lawsuit.

    On August 8th, ******************* and Steinhour Construction said that they would complete a kitchen remodel by October. No work was completed and the time frame kept getting pushed back. Steinhour Construction has seized all communication with us now. He took the deposit and never did any of the work.

    Made the business a deposit for work to be completed in ************ months later, no work has been done, and the owner no longer contacts us.
