Contracted with builder, Alexi Development.,(*****************), 7/2021 & paid the 40k down payment requested, for a custom built single family home with a projected close date, 10/2022. (Ashton **** homes in ********, **., addr. 113 Echelon). We have been given additional closing dates of 2/28/22, then late 12/22 then early 1/23 then 7 or 8/23. Most dates by email, although ************ has denied saying those dates. During this process, we have also put over 30k in upgrades such as cabinets, flooring & appliances. We have also experienced less than quality workmanship with cabinets and misaligned doors, for example we asked to be corrected. As of Fri., 4/28/23, ************ stated he was walking away from the properties and boarding them up with some issue he has with the Vill. Of ********? The inside of our home is complete, including the garage, exterior doors installed and all windows. We want to move into our home, not walk away and lose our hard earned money/investment. Often times, our inquiries are never responded to or only a random email. This developer has senior asstd living facilities, also, one listed by BBB in ********, **.. We are seeking sound completion of our home now. As info, the phone contact for the business appears to have run together. The 773 prefix number is the office, followed by the 877 cell number. The only office address we have is listed in *********, **.. if additional info is needed, please advise **. Thank you.
