They emptied my septic tank and charged me $250.00 on 10-10-22. My septic tank is now full again. Today is 12/1/22. A week earlier I called the same company and left a message explaining to them my septic tank is full again. **** (the owner) finally called me yesterday. I spoke with him yesterday and told him my septic tank is full again and that his worker never bothered to cover the tank when he left. The phone conversation with **** was professional yesterday and **** explained that his worker would inspect the drain field and the tank today and come up with a plan. The same worker arrived at 7:30am banging on my door. He told me my septic tank was 100 years old and needs to be replaced. This house wasn't even built 100 years ago. I then called the company owner again, ****, and he called me a liar saying his worker wouldn't say such things. **** then explained to me houses in my area have old septic tanks and they all need to be replaced. He then explained to me they don't even make money off of replacing septic tanks. Why then did he say his worker would inspect the drain field and septic tank to come up with a solution? I find out that this worker is also the co-owner. None of this makes sense. Simply they just pump septic tanks without any diligence. However, their website does say they repair tanks which would mislead a homeowner with the kind of service they provide.

      Hello,

The homeowner did call us to pump his septic tank, which we did.  At that time the leves in the tank here full to the top telling us that there were issues with the septic field.  As discussed on the phone, its possoible that there was a miscomunication but my driver tells me the homeowner told him that he would put the cover back on.  Again as I discussed on the phone with him, it is possible there was a miscommunication and apologized for this.  He did call back a week or two later stating that the tank was full again.  I was not aware that they had also already discussed on the first visit that he would need more work to be done, but the homeowner did not seem interested in this at the time.  After his call back, I did send out the same driver, who is also an owner of the company.  We were roughly 20 min early for a "free estimate" which has never baan an issue before but seemed to be a major issue to this homeowner.  The homeowner was also rude to our employees at that point and did tell him that the system will likely need to be replaced.  Systems with a tank of his size are quite outdated and most times there is not much we can do to repair them.  Rechel septic then decided we were going to leave the property as it did not seem we were going to be interested in working for this customer at this point.  Then the customer called me, and told me that my employees were swearing at him, which i knew to be false, and he did later admit that they in fact not swear at him.  I told him we do not do SEPTIC REPLACEMENTS, so what he wrote in his message is false as well and never mentioned we dont make money at that, simply that we do not do them.  Pumping septic tanks with no diligence does not really make much sense.  We pump septic tanks, and when there appears to be issues we alert the homeowner, and from there they have the choice to repair it if they would like, either using our service or antoher.  Our website says we do "Septic tank replacements" which is true, but in his case a simple septic tank replacement would likely not solve his issues.

At the end of the day, we did not and were not planning to do a repair or charge him for this visit, we were coming out for a "free estimate" to advise him of possible solutions to his problems.  The fact that we were early, seemed to really agitate this customer (even though on the phone the day prior he told me that being late to work was hard for him so when my team was able to get there a little early i did not feel this was going to be an issue).  We did pump the septic tank on the original call for a fee of $250 which includes pumping the septic tank, but really nothing further than that is included with a scheduled septic pumping.

He has called us liars and that is his choice.  We have thousands of happy customers that will disagree with that statement.  We told him it would be best to call another company to help him with his issues at this point.  Just as homeowners do, we also have the choice to work for a customer or not to work for them and it seems it is best in this situation that we go our seperate ways.

I would recommend that he calls the local health department or another septic company to come out and inspect his system to see if it needs to be replaced or in their eyes will continue to function to their standards.

Please feel free to reach out with any further information needed.
