    I had a very disappointing experience with Chicago Van Rentals. From the moment I called, the staff was unprofessional and downright rude. Simple questions about canceling my reservation rental process, i was met with impatience and attitude, as if I was a burden rather than a customer. I Requested for service on May 22, 2025, however didn't need the service so I called them on May 19, 2025 to cancel my reservation and was charged $250 for nothing. This company needs to be investigated.

    We provide you a very professional service, we answer your phone call 3 times. you called to cancel the reservation. Due to safety reason, we only take cancelation by email only. which you don't want to. When you are a customer of ********************** you have to follow our terms and ************* a customer you have to do what you have to do and don't complaint that you are disappointed because of our service. You hang up the phone 3 times. That reflet your professionalism and attitude. More over the reservation you are referring to was cancelled some one else 2 hours before your fist call. Basically you are not focused on what you are doing and blame others for your faults.

    ******** customer service. Rude workers. Very slow was there for 5 hours for one rental. Company took no responsibility or accountability for lost reservation. Will never rent from them again. The General Manger according to me theater me with a refund thinking I was in a jam and needed to rent his product last minute. Even said that this wasnt Burger King. Save yourself the headache and never use this company

    No rental company took 5 hours for a rental. This is a false statement. This customer cancelled the reservation 2 months before and the walk ***** we accommodate her.

    we don't recognize a customer with that name in our system. If you read her comment that a car rental takes 5 hours means fishy and spammy.

    I rented a van from this place in March to take my family of 10 to ********* dells during spring break. I asked the employee helping me 3 specific and direct questions.1. How much time will it take to complete this process? He stated 5 minutes and 30 minutes later, I'm walking out the door.2. When will I get my deposit back? He stated within 24hrs 3. is their a ***** period if I'm back within 1-2 hrs. He assured me that as long as I'm back on Sunday, and the van was cleaned with no scratches, dings and within the mileage limit I will be fine. Well everything that he told me was inaccurate and a lie. I called for three days consecutively asking for my deposit and if they found any issues that's causing the delay in processing the return and their answer consistently was, they still haven't processed the return in yet. The *** got so upset with me calling for a finalized receipt and my deposit back that he decided to send it same day within 1 hour but charged me for an extra day for returning the vehicle at 3pm. They had already processed the return, because immediately within seconds on the phone the *** told me that I returned the vehicle at 3pm instead of 12PM and that he seen me recording the vehicle as I returned it, so he knew who I was, and they had to watch the cameras to see me recording the vehicle and mileage to ensure there were no scratches/dings, the mileage was within their 500 limit and/or garbage was not left behind in the vehicle, so they couldn't charge me additional feeds like others complained about. I will never rent from this place again. It's a valuable ****** learned to make sure to rent weeks/months in advance from a reputable rental company and that larger rental companies typically have better customer service and won't charge an extra day for being late on a return a few hours. I've rented over 1000 vehicles and vans in the past 15 years and never had worst customer service.

We extended this courtesy, though we do question why another company, to whom you claim to have given business over 1000 times for last 15 years and describe yourself as a very loyal customer, would cancel your reservation last minute. We highly value our returning customers and treat them very well. For us, renting a van is about serving the community, not just conducting business.Let us provide some context about Chicago Van Rentals, which you may not know. We have been serving the Chicago market for the past 11 years, and 90% of our customers are repeat clients who have used our services for several years. Our customer ratings reflect this loyalty. When writing a review, it should provide genuine feedback that is sensible for others reading ****** complained about the check-out duration. Renting a van is not like buying a soda from a gas station; it involves necessary policies and procedures, including insurance verification and driver's license checks. The normal time for this is ***** minutes. Delays can occur if customers do not have the proper documentation ready. Furthermore, we checked our cameras and confirmed with our employees: you arrived for your 12:00 PM appointment at 12:20 PM. We finished your paperwork at 12:34 PM, completed the vehicle walk-around to verify condition by 12:40 PM, at which point you left our lot. Please consider these facts when evaluating the reason for your review. You left the place in 20 minutes. If you go to big companies have to wait in the line for ********* also claimed we offered a 1-2 hour ***** period for late returns and stated your deposit would be refunded within 24 hours. People reading this review will understand standard merchant practices. Most businesses state deposit refunds take 5-7 business days; promising a 1-day refund is unrealistic we are not magicians. We checked with our employees, and no such ***** period or 24-hour refund was promised.The core issue seems to be that you were charged an additional day for returning the van 3 hours late. You don't appear to have any other valid reason for this negative review. Charging for an additional day is standard practice across all rental companies when a vehicle is returned late; some even impose extra fees for returns exceeding just one hour late.We want to inform the public reading this review that Mr. ******* ***** is providing false information because he was upset about being correctly charged for returning the van significantly late. Therefore, his statements and the basis for his review lack credibility.

    **************** is so rude!!! I called this place to inquire on their pricing. The guy who answer my call is very rude. He didnt let me finish my question and told me if I m gonna book or just asking for a discount? He told me in a sarcastic way that if I found a cheaper price somewhere else just book to that place. To all customer read the reviews first. I went to their ******** page and most of their customer are complaining. There is also one review similar to what I had experience. This company dont need a customer and they dont deserve a 1 star either.

    People reading the review from *************************, read *********************************** side too. ***************************, wrote this review, not because of any bad experience with ********************** ******************* But because her budget is low to rent a van. *************************** called us at 11 pm at night to get a price for a 12-passenger van for 2 days. our employee told our daily price for the van is $189/day. The next question she asks "do you have any discount"? Our employee said Chicago van rentals price is even cheaper than big name brands like ************************************** their price for a 12-passenger van is $250/day. when we are cheaper than a big brand name we cannot give any discount or offers. Right away *************************** told that she found a cheaper rate for a van for some other places in ******* for $100/day which is 3 hours away from ********************** . *************************** asks us to price match that $100/day she found somewhere in *******. Our employee told **** Chicago Van Rentals was unable to price match $100/day. She can book from that company. Right away ********************* asks Do we want her business?Our employees never rude to her. She forced our employees to make the reservation for a cheaper price she found out of state. Chicago Van Rentals is largest fleet of ********************************* in **********************. We serve more than 1000's of Happy customers and 45 conversion vans in our fleet. Our goal is to make all our customers happy. Unfortunately, sometimes we cannot make everyone happy the way they need and the price they like. We have our own price. We are happy to price match any price if it's a small difference from any of our competitors. when your budget is low and cannot afford us, it's not good to write reviews and take a business down and that is not good for our society.moreover if you look *************************** ****** reviews she only spends her time to write 3 negative reviews in her life, never support a business or apricating a business or service. I truly believe **** visits 1000's shops and she had happy experience with many shops, She never spends a minute to apricate or support any business by writing a good review.
