Brought car in for a simple belt change. I had to leave car there because I had to head to work they called me telling me all the belts needed changed and the alternator which I didnt think it was. The replaced everything and when I got the car back I have a dash of warning lights on my ac doesnt work. My car is shifting weird and jerking. The cost of 3 belts and one alternator was apprently 600 bucks. They broke something and they are lying and saying it came in that way and trying to charge me to fix it. There is a ton of reviews online ( which I should have read first) stating that its a common thing for this company to break stuff and charge extra to fix it

Hello. ************** originally had his car towed into our shop on 9/15/23 due to being unable to start it. Upon inspection, ************** discovered one of the belts was shredded and the rest were of the same age. Tech also spun the alternator, it had drag and the bearing could be heard badly inside it. The shop manager ************** and recommended changing it all, to which he approved. We put in aftermarket brand alternator from ******** Auto Parts. It was charging and no battery warning lights were on in the dash. That alternator blew a main fuse, which we replaced at no cost to the customer. Customer called a day or 2 later and stated next day the battery warning lights came on and car wouldn't start for him. He came back upset, we offered to send ************** to the car and give it a jumpstart to get back to us. We tried a 2nd ******** alternator at no charge, and after installing, battery warning lights wouldn't go off. Shop Manager then called *** after 2nd one wouldn't turn battery light off, put in one of theirs (at no charge to customer) and everything ok.  We did everything we could to try and exceed customer expectations by not charging for main fuse and going to get his vehicle for him so didn't have to worry about getting it back to us.
