    On 9/30/22, Hero Cleaning came to my house to provide home cleaning services, as they had been every 2 weeks since 7/19/22. One of our regular cleaners, ****, came up to me after the services had been completed and told me that she accidentally broke the k*** off of our oven. We have never had this happen or have ever had any issues since we purchased this condo about 8 years ago. She told me that ****** from their company would reach out to me regarding the solve. About an hour or two later, ****** texted me and said "Hi ****! **** just called me to talk about the stove piece. Do you think we can find a replacement for the broken part?" I proceeded to text back and forth with her for about 2.5 weeks regarding a solve. On 9/30 I said, "I expect Hero to cover the cost to fix/purchase a new part for the oven." and ****** replied, "totally understand." After 2 weeks of texting ****** repeatedly told me that she was talking to several "specialized stores" and said that they ordered the part, but then later said that they ordered the wrong part. Later she said they couldn't find the part/it was discontinued/not available. She said, "there's nothing more we can do." I then spent 10 minutes calling repair shops and found two that had the part and could fix it. When I relayed this info, ****** simply said that they could not afford to pay to fix this and because it had already been broken, their insurance doesn't cover this. I have no knowledge of this part ever being broken or repaired in the 8 years I've lived here. As a gesture of good faith, I found 2 more companies who had the part and could repair it for cheaper than the initial costs that I gave them. I relayed this new quote/info to Hero and they have not responded. They have been completely ignoring all texts and calls from me. They have not responded since 10/17 and I would like them to pay for the repair. The cost is $575 (parts and labor). I even offered to split the cost- still no response at all.
