  H&H was hired on 10-29-21 In the proposal i was having a laundry room finished,kitchen remodel,master bath created ,deck,deck repair,roof and a few other small things done. The price quoted was $29500 with$10000 paid up front and $1000 a week. They were working on 3 clients homes at a time( not even sure how him and his worker could even keep track of what they were doing).so they were at my house less than 5 hours a day and did a lot of no shows but still took money out of account The account was emptied out,and since there is no money left they have not finished the work. This company did not use their time wisely and are very unprofessional. The master bath,deck,deck repair and roof still need done. I either would like the job finished or my money returned so I can pay someone else to finish it. The owner states I had extra work done that took all the money for labor which is incorrect....there wasn't that much work even done to my home and feel like if there was extra he should have done the stuff on the contract first. He figured the jobs up on the proposal to begin with then tried to charge me for each and every little thing he done when it should have been included in the remodel quote. I bought most of the stuff out of my own pocket,he never provided me with a daily or even weekly detailed list of what he done,the charges,etc after asking several times so that I could keep up with my money. Also never brought any receipts

  The consumer was not being truthful, the consumer continued to make changes to our work scope causing the project to go over budget, they have exceeded the funds available for this project and will have to pay for any additional work before we can resume service.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  I asked repeatedly for a daily or weekly detailed list of work done or money spent....never got anything until after h&h  packed up. The stuff on the proposal should have been done first before doing anything else and some of the changes were due to the company not showing color swatches to begin with,the work that was done was not done properly...they were to paint my brown wood cabinets to a white they did paint them white....they did not sand the cabinets first and painted them with a latex paint which is peeling and bubbling and charged me $1800 to paint them. Instead of putting in new counters,this company has painted and repainted my counters never to put a clear seal over the paint or finish the project until after they were fired then I was offered for a new counterto be put on but not one to match the bar,the bar is part of the counters and was painted by the contractor  like it was all together.....the contractor done a very sloppy job painting,he got paint all over my sink and some in floor...with the money he charged for this i could have had all new counter tops in my kitchen instead I'm left with a counter that looks worse than it did before this company started this job and these are the kind of things I was charged for. This company is robbing clients by cutting corners,using stuff they already have from previous contracting jobs then charging for stuff. Example I was charged for several gallons of paint that was bought at the store but yet they mixed paint and used paint they already had...this is why I was never shown no paint swatches and things had to be repainted. Very negligent on their part then charged me labor to repaint. If I were shown a paint swatch,picked a color then changed mind I could see charging me to repaint but I did not pick the color and tried to tell them it was too dark,they continued to paint the wholeroom telling me it would lighten up when it dried...it did not!!
