Pup was transferred from P** *** ******* to Tina for training of our puppy(11/24). My concern is that I was told upon pick up that our puppy may have Giardia and that other puppies were diagnosed. I took her to the vet the day after I picked her up and she was diagnosed a few days later when her stool specimens came back. She is on her third course of antibiotics. This has cost us about $400 extra dollars. If I would have known Tina had positive pups at her facility, I would not have pursued training with her, nor purchased the pup from P** ***, as they were further for me and the training was a huge part of my decision, as discussed with Jennifer from P** *** prior to purchase. I feel others should be made aware-testing should be completed at least weekly while pups are in Tina's care and since she has had know Giardia on her property, I do not feel she should be able to train any further on her property. This is a highly contagious organism and has caused our family much distress and inconvenience. This is a health concern for the puppies, the other animals that reside with the puppy, and the family.
