  One star for this company is WAY TO MUCH! This company installed a fence at my last house so I called them again. The owners son came to give the estimate and was very friendly, professional and very easy to work with. We signed a contract with him and put down a deposit which was more than 20%. Two weeks before the install date I called the office to make some changes to my fence project. The owner got involved at this point saying "I'm confused and need to come see it". He came to my house and appeared glassy/Red eyed and mumbling at times, he looked at the job and I explained the changes. We sat at my table and he tried to squeeze me for more money saying his son underbid the job. I told him "that's not my problem", your company bid the job and that's what I'm paying (unless the changes are less and you can lower the price) He tried to change the fence panels from the quoted 7' wide to 8' wide and I told him "no, I was quoted for the 7' panels and that 's what I want. He eventually agreed to the panel size and the quoted price, saying "do you blame me for trying to get more money?". On the day of install, the crew showed up on time and I went over the job with them to make sure we were on the same page. The crew was very nice and professional, then the fence panels show up and are all 8'. The ******* called the owner (Big ****) and then he called me saying "I didn't have 7' 2x4's. I said "ok, what can we do about this problem?" He replied "Install the 8' panels" I replied, "that's not what we are contracted for. He told me "too bad I'll refund your deposit and go with another company". I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a company owner while trying to spend more than 10k. He is not only rude but VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL and don't care about his customers AT ALL! If you are looking for a fence, DON'T CALL "THE CEDAR MILL" unless you want to be treated rudely an want problems and aggravation! This company is terrible!!!

  The owner of the company is the absolute worst person to deal with (****). He's ignorant and extremely unprofessional. Shows up to my house asking for more money because the company quoted me to low. (He was not in the right state of mind if you know what I mean.) He eventually agrees to do the fence at the original quoted price and signs a new contract. The day the fence is to be installed, his crew shows up with the wrong size fence. The owner then tells me that he didn't have any 7ft lumber so deal with it. Wouldn't work with me on price at all and states that he won't correct their mistake. He then said that because I wouldn't pay more money initially, he won't put my fence in. Please save yourself a disaster, and go with another company!!!. On a small side note, everyone else besides the owner was okay.
