    My child was enrolled in this daycare. I informed the center that I would be unenrolling my child from this daycare and gave a them a two week notice but I still was charged for the following week even though they knew he would no longer attend daycare. I phoned several times about receiving a refund and was told that I would be still charged for drop in care for his last day even though his last week was paid in full.

    Hello 

    This family does not attend Little Learner Children's Academy Minooka. They were to enroll at Little Learner Children's Academy ********* but it looks like they did not fulfill there agreement. They were to give a written two week notice if not attending and did not. She paid her non refundable registration and first week per contract. She owes a second week to LLCA but we waived as a courtesy. No refund is due.

    I am rejecting this response because a two-week notice was provided on February 16, 2024, that stated my child last day was going to be March 1, 2024, which was EXACTLY two weeks. I did not break any agreements! And I don't owe anything. My child  was enrolled in Little Learner Children's Academy *********** not *********, so they clearly have me mixed up with someone else.

    I signed my daughter up to go to daycare at Little Learner Children's Academy in *********, **. I signed a one page contract stating she would start on 5.18.23 and gave a deposit for one week's worth of care at $190 dollars plus card charge. The contract does the initial fee is non refundable but the contract also gave a date my child would start. One week before she was to start, the daycare called and said they would have to push out her start date (no date given on when she would start). Right there, the contract I signed was broken and null and void. I had to scramble to try and find another daycare. I asked many times for my money back as my daughter would not be going to this daycare. The owner refused. They have done this to many other people. They have broken the contract and thus I am owed my money back. They broke the Consumer Fraud act. I am just looking to get my money back and move on. This facility by moving her start date, broke the contract and thus I am due my money back. I am attaching the one page contract for reference.

    My daughter has never attended not one single day !!! The school called an advised me I had to pay two weeks of tuition and a summer camp fee now the school emailed me and stated I only have to pay a week and a summer camp fee,When I had signed up for this school i was advised if I wanted to get the help from the state which is called child care assistance I had to pay the registration fee for the school and also sign the contract for the school , also I was not aloud to have a copy of the contract as the director stated I also asked if I could at least take a picture of it I was told no I could not take a picture of what I was signing , I also stated to the director I would not be making any forms of payment into I got my approval from the child care assistance as the director agreed it took about 2 months for the approval, and my daughter never attended during the process as the approval was done the state paid them for the two weeks I was supposed to start. I got a call from the school which was the director, she started to inform me the tuition for the week which was 89$ it was way out of my budget and I had found another school which was cheaper and in my budget , and I told the director and thats when she stated I would have to pay all theses charges and fees but the child care assistant has paid them for these up coming two weeks that they are trying to charge me for full tuition which is 375 a week , just for transferring her to a different school , as stated my daughter has never attended not one single day. No services where provided not one single day. And the state has made payments towards them for the two weeks I had thought my daughter was going to start but never started they keep trying to charge my account as I already told my bank account to bounce what they are trying to charge me ,
