On June 23rd Integra Builders started the work on our house that we contracted them for which included a remodel of the first and second floor of our house. This included two bathrooms, kitchen, new floors, new plumbing, electrical, entry door, interior doors, paint/drywall, repair and or install two new windows etc. The initial cost was to be $75,000. With several reductions in price the total came to $68,500. My family and I moved out for about 5 weeks. At this time *************************** (the owner) stated we could move back in and he would finish up the work in the next couple weeks. Upon returning home we found many problems and unfinished items that we agreed upon at the beginning of the job. After a month or so of requesting to have the work completed about 3/4 of the items were finished. At this point we still had several jobs that had not been completed. **** spoke to my wife ******* on October 2nd stating that the work would be completed within 2 weeks. ***************** sent a text on October 27th stating he would be finishing the work the following week. I have sent several text messages and phone calls/voicemails. **** has refused to reply or complete the work. I have a contract, text messages and pictures to prove what still needs to be done and what work Integra agreed to do. Below is a list of jobs we are still waiting to be completed or Integra refuses to do.Replace bathroom door after being damaged during bathtub reinstall.-Replace two windows that could not be repaired.-Fix cracks in drywall on kitchen ceiling/walls -Did not replace galvanized drain pipes to basement with PVC (only replaced P traps). -Missing trim in several spots -Did not correctly repair/replace HVAC duct work in basement. In the middle of *************** told us to keep the final payment we owed of $3200. And he would fix the drywall and bathroom door (which he has not done). We told him we did not want to keep the money. We wanted all the work completed correctly as agreed upon.
