    Everything was fine until it wasn't and with concrete, unfortunately, that's permanent. We had a new sidewalk, pad, poured steps & replacement patio done. We had an issue w/ the steps which led to a misunderstanding and even though I thought I clarified my stance, contractor still adamant that the original words spoken was what I meant. Couldn't reach an agreeable resolution so now we're stuck w/ it. not worth even pursuing a suit TBH. He will definitely underbid other contractors but BUYER BEWARE if the work isn't up to your standards because it'll just be what it is. Concrete is nearly permanent like tattoos... choose your artist wisely, this ain't it. Actual price w/ a *LICENSED* contractor is at least double... but worth it IMO. Pro's - they work hard when they're there and try to pay attention to detail, owner is nice & personable (until you push back if you aren't happy) Con's - cut lines are CROOKED, poured steps didn't math out so our bottom step is a 12" drop (not to code and we have to fix), top of steps is separating due to pulling forms too early, each step shows dropping, back patio has dimpling, ROUGH (i.e. couldn't walk on it w/ bare feet), cut line there is also super crooked, broom work is TERRIBLE, not properly graded so water sits near the cutline.
