I had lose tiles around the bathtub. The owner said he could fix those and had experience with bathroom tile and grout. He then convinced me to have grout removed from tiles he was not working on so all grout would match. While removing the lose tiles he damaged the finish on tub in several placed. He didn't **** the tiles he removed so he couldn't put them back in right order. The day after he finished, I tried to wipe down the three walls and all the grout "melted". He agreed to comeback and remove that faulty grout. When he returned he brought a grinder and tried to dig deep into the wall to remove old grout. He damaged over 27 tiles. He said, "that's the best I can do". Some tiles have 2 inch gashes. He damaged bathroom door because he was angry. He used my bath towel as a drop cloth. Asked to use my home vacuum because he forgot his shop vac. He tracked the sticky grout "powder" he drilled out all over my home and my hardwood floors are now dull. He tried to pour left over grout down my kitchen sink. One section of the wall by the faucet is now caving in. He agreed to refund all money if I signed a release to not *** him. After I cashed the check at my bank where he met me, I informed him I would not sign. He got angry, threatened me and would not let me in my car. I had to call police. I'm an older, single woman living on SSDI. I will have to take down all three walls and install new wall board and tiles before I can sell my home now. He also damaged the existing floor tiles which also needs to be replaced. This simple job was beyond his skillset. He used my home to "practice". Now I'm left with an expensive mess to clean up. How do guys like this stay in business?

the company owner came in and looked at plumbing work that needed to be done. We had two pin size holes in our water pipe and a new toilet, tub spicket and a new drain in the sink. While work was being done the owner stopped as he threw his hands up and stated he was unable to complete as water was now leaking in other areas that were not previously to his arrival. After calling another plumbing company in they stated that the tub spicket was installed incorrectly and that the drain to the sink that was installed by the first company was wrenched on way to tight and should have only been hand tight. This is what they feel the issue is caused from. We have not had water to the sink since last week 3/14 and have since filed with his insurance company to have another company come in and fix the leak issue so we have running water. If you are in over your head and cannot to the job that you stated were all easy fixes, then you should not consider yourself a plumber. i have never in the midst of a job had someone throw their hands up and tell me to call someone more qualified as they could not resolve the issue they started. Our option now is to remove a vanity that is built into the wall, Remove Ceramic tiling around sink, vanity and toilet and cut into the wall to see what happened with drain when he installed the new one.
