On 2/23/23 I scheduled Service Master of Aurora to service my flooded basement. They arrived 2/24 at 11:00am. They arrived on time, assessed the situation, and began working right away. I was a little confused that I didnt get an exact quote or any kind of pricing. The gentleman I worked with, ******, stated that it should cost around $3000-$4000, depending on how many days the equipment (fans/dehumidifiers) would need to stay. ****** stated that he would have the main office call me that day and give me more info on the bill. As the day went on, the two gentleman (****** and ****) communicated with me about things that were going on in my basement. They stated that the queen ******** I had (1 year old), was ruined and asked if I needed it taken away. I said I could put it out Sunday on garbage day, and they offered to bring it upstairs to my garage for me, I thanked them for that. I also had several rugs that were wet, they stated they would clean and sanitize them for me. I only needed 4 out of the 7 rugs cleaned, the 3 I didnt need cleaned were old and inexpensive. The other 4 were much more expensive, with the most expensive rug being underneath the sectional couch in the finished part of the basement. ****** told me that the carpet in the basement couldnt be saved, that they would have to rip that up along with the carpet on the stairwell leading to the basement. ****** and I looked at the larger more expensive rug that was in the finished part of the basement under the sectional couch, he stated that it was wet and they would remove it and clean/sanitize it.I have attached a ********* Word document stating the issues that arose from this visit. This text box will not let me type out all the issues, as I only get **** characters. Please refer to the attached document for the full story. Thank you
