I went to Jiffy Lube on 7/11/22 to get my routine oil change. This was the second time I was there. Everything was fine until 7/23. I was in Oak Park visiting my boyfriend and when I started my car that morning it seemed to be running funny. There was a knocking noise and my car has never made that noise. Shortly after a light came on and I pulled over and had my boyfriend check the oil. I knew that was the only thing I had done to my car so I was sure it had something to do with that. There was no oil at all in my car. We put a few litters in the car and quickly drove to the local Jiffy Lude down the road. They checked and told me my oil housing was broke and they did not have the part so I had to go to the dealer right away. They filled up my oil and we left. I was not very happy that they are passing the buck but my focus was getting my car fixed at that time. I had something I had to take care of that was time sensitive and it took my a few hours. By the time I was done again there was no oil in my car. I had to have the car towed to ****** in ********, **. They looked at the car that following Monday and told me they had to replace the oil housing as it was cracked when the oil change was done. I paid $99.09 on 7/26 for the repair. This caused me a lot of problems and stress. I had to find a way back to Aurora that is where I live and then once the car was fixed I had to take a train to Oak Park . Thankfully ****** picked me up and drove me to the dealership to get my car. I went in 7/27 to Jiffy Lube in ********** in person to talk to the manager. I spoke to **** who assured me I would hear from the District manager *************************** that day. Nothing I waited and waited. I finally called back and was told the same thing. Again nothing. I called again and got his number. I talked to ****** who seemed to act as if it is no big deal. He said he would talk to the owner and call me back. I asked for the oil change money I paid to be refunded $94.36 as well as $99.09
