    I orally agreed to 5 year interest free financing on my fence purchased through Acosta Fence Corp on 4/17/2024. When asked for the terms in writing they refused to provide paperwork and charged my card with different terms without my consent three months later. I am seeking either my account be adjusted with the correct 5 years 0 interest or I would like compensation for the interest Im wrongly being charged.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.


    To clarify, Acosta Fence Corp. does not advertise or offer a 5-year interest-free financing plan. As clearly stated on our website and in our financing materials, the promotional financing available through ********************* is a 6-month interest-free option, this is the only option we promote, and it is what the customer sees when applying.
    The financing process is handled directly through ****************. Customers review and accept terms within their secure portal, and begin receiving monthly statements from ****************, typically starting right after the work is completed and funds are released. These statements would have outlined all account terms from the beginning, nearly a year ago, so were not sure why this is only now being brought to our attention.


    Additionally, Acosta Fence has been offering financing through **************** for over three years and has never encountered an issue like this.  Acosta Fence does not have the capability to offer or customize extended financing terms such as a 5-year no-interest plan. We are not aware of any such request being made to our office, and no one from our financing or accounts receivable department would have had the authority to make such an agreement. There is no record of this offer or arrangement on our end, so were unsure with whom the customer believes they had this verbal agreement.


    That said, the customer did open a dispute directly with ***** Fargo, and we have been working with the bank to assist in resolving the matter. However, because this financing agreement is between the customer and ****************, and not **********************, there is nothing further we can do to alter the terms or influence the account.
    We are happy to continue assisting with communication as needed, but from our end, everything was handled accurately and in line with the program as it exists.
