In June I had my car towed to the business for a quote on engine repair work. I was then contacted with the quote from their receptionist. I asked her if I could have time to think about if I could afforf the price they were quoting. Shortly after I was hospitalized and under my doctor's care. At the end of July I was sent a notice by the business saying if I did not come for my vehicle within 10days they would take possession of my vehicle. I immedietly contacted them and at that point I was told their was a storage fee. I explained I was never told of a storage fee and my medical issues I had faced after they had my car. The receptionist then told me to send her any documentation that can prove this and she would contact me with information. My doctor's officen then faxed over the information and I have yet to hear from anyone from the business and they are still holding my vehicle.

We are still waiting for proof of being hospitalized from this customer. This vehicle has been here since 6/13/24 with no communication back from the customer. Take your time does not mean leave it here to sit in our parking lot for two months. We understand if he was truly hospitalized that whole time and told him to send proof and we would see what we can do. I never provided a fax number to fax anything to, it was an email and I have not received anything. We told him thing yesterday when he called and yet to get any documentation. This vehicle did becomes ours on 8/6/24 through the secretary of state process for an abandoned car, so this is time sensitive before it is scrapped.

Morris transmission repaired my transmission on my ****** Quest van from an accident, but upon driving it other problems occurred with the transmission. They have a ***** mile/1 year warranty on their work. I returned it to be fixed but it took over 2 weeks of them working on it and they could not find the problem. I asked why the delay with 8 hours a day to work on it. I was told they did not work on it a couple days merely because I called to politely ask what their progress was. I would call once a day to see whats going on and I was always friendly. This day they told me they did not work on it a couple times because I called them I was also told maybe if I paid them they would get 2 guys on it and get it fixed right away. Then she proceeded to yell and curse at me them she hung up on me. I called back to get who I think was the owner or manager who also yelled at me then Confirmed they did not work on it several times just because I called and refused to work on my car anymore because I called that day too. He said he would shove my car in his back lot and not work on it. Worried they would do something to ruin my car I went there and removed it from their property. They did not honor their warranty, they treated me like garbage, and they openly refused work on my van. The car still acts up and I have no other means to get it fixed. This deserves some sort of disciplinary action or fines for fraud to me and the insurance company that paid them to fix it initially. Thank you for your help.

This customer is correct in saying we had his vehicle for 2 weeks, however we took his unit apart and did not find anything visually wrong. It generated some codes on items already replaced, so we checked wiring and electrical and also found nothing. This customer did call daily and was told where we were each day, complaining that he has no money for a rental car. I did explain that we are trying to figure out what is causing his issue several times, but he wanted his car right now. Unfortunately being a cvt transmission, it's way more complex then changing a sensor to make it work. On top of that, it takes ***** minutes of driving to make it act up. The customer demanded that we spend 8 hours a day on just his vehicle to resolve his problem and was told we only have 2 employees so in order for him to be our only customer, he would have to pay hourly since we wouldnt be working on anybody elses cars either. He demanded he would take his car and report fraud and threatened an attorney. He was never told we wouldn't warranty his transmission, he just wanted right now and there was no way to make that happen. He came and picked up his vehicle so he can drive it and damage it more. His insurance company was updated on him pulling it out of here and was unaware because he didn't notify them. There is no fraud and no denial of warranty, we have a customer who has no money to rent a car and is making it our fault.
