This company seems to be running a scam, especially considering they were awarded a government contract. They have a "Suggested Towing Vendor Price List" hanging on the wall of their building, and the prices listed are significantly different from what we were charged.According to their own invoice, the costs for medium-duty towing up to ****** lbs is $425 for the first two hours, and $275 per hour thereafter. For heavy-duty towing (over ****** lbs), its $475 for the first two hours and $300 thereafter. We had a semi-truck without a trailer, which obviously wouldn't weigh more than ****** lbs. Still, they charged us based on the higher rate. When we tried to explain this to the clerk at the window, she informed us that the rates were set by the owner or manager. She ominously warned us that if she called him, the costs might actually go up. It felt like a threatalmost as if they were holding our equipment hostage until we paid the inflated price of $1,115.The most ridiculous part is that they demand only cash paymentno credit cards accepted. If we do not bring cash, they will charge us a storage fee until we can produce the cash. What is this? Racketeering? They towed our truck less than three miles and charged us for four hours of work. This is ridiculous, especially for a government vendor. When we approached the police, they advised us that this was a civil matter and nothing could be done. What a joke!

the motorcycle was towed from the the accident after a police officer called *** mar on 9-12-2024. i called on the 13th and informed that the insurance will call me on the 16th. The lady at *** mar said to take care of it right away otherwise they will start charging after the leniency per the police officer. on 9-17-2024 i called at 2:34pm asking how much and the lady said $145 if picked up by today. If not, then $200. i asked how much is it per day and she said $55. on 9-18-2024, i called linmar asking if they can tow the motorcycle to my driveway and that i can pay $200 over the phone or in person. she said it's not $200, it's $1000. I asked how and she said to pick up the vehicle from the accident to their towing was $415 and each day $55 and to have it towed to my home is $200. The distance between the location of the accident and linmar is less than 5miles. so, this is absurd. this lady cannot just come up with an amount. there is no dollar amount showing on their site. it just shows "affordable rates. Quality towing services should not break the bank." SERIOUSLY? That is exactly what this linmar is doing. the lady there is SUPER SUPER RUDE . something needs to be done with this outrageous amount these greedy people charging. AN AWEFUL EXPERIENCE. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THEIR SERVICE. i hope BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU will try to handle the situation and check their site where it shows nothing. this was a motorcycle accident and it wasn't even my son's fault and he was in the hospital for three days. without even considering my pain, this lady just wanted her money. PLEASE HELP AND STOP THIS STUPITITY.

ago NEW *********** showed up to tow our truck from ********** in ****************** to their company warehouse on Sunday 10/23 around 2pm. Tow was less than 1 miles. They charge us total of $1125.When we came to pay the 'custoer service' lady told us that it is a cash only when on her window it says how much is credit card surcharge. We had to go to the bank and give them cash. When they towed us they had to disassemble part that they did not want or did not know how to reassemble. They asked us to find a mechanic to put it back together in their yard. We were surprised when they told us that this is the company policy and every towed truck need to bring his own mechanic. They told us that if we cannot find a mechanic before they close for the day we will have to pay overnight storage fee. They were not friendly at all.BE AWARE, VERY SHADY BUISNESS PLEASE CHECK REVIEWS ON LINE BEFORE USE. BBB, YELP, ALL OVER
