      We believe MortonNite and Day did not have the knowledge or expertise to complete the job because it still isn't working properly. Installation was a nightmare of amateur work, at best. We did a final walk through and noticed major problems in the duct work. One was placement of duct work not agreed on. It was supposed to go on an exterior wall, but was placed on the interior wall. There were major gaps in the duct work and not fastened at all. They tried to drill a hole in our concrete slab foundation that did not work and/or fix. The upstairs ductless unit had hot air from outside blowing into our room which in turn didn’t cool properly. The freon line leading up to the unit upstairs was not fastened correctly to the house. The lines running into the basement had major gaps that needed to be sealed. As the purchaser of this system and using the company we found all of these issues when he claimed the job was “done”. The company did not fix the issue of duct work placement. When they fastened the duct work, they drilled holes through our original 1937 home flooring. He did not fix that issue as well. We paid out of pocket for all the registers. We also paid out of pocket for a new control panel in December. He supplied us with a control panel that did not have everything we needed to work our systems. Which he should have known if he had knowledge and expertise of the systems. We’ve had several issues throughout the summer months of the freon lines freezing up. He never fixed the issue just added two more returns in our home that did nothing. We just knew as the owner we couldn't put our air lower than 75 degrees. During the winter months the heat pump worked correctly only to a certain degree. The heat pump currently doesn’t work, and we are only using the original heat the boiler. He doesn’t have the knowledge or expertise of the Bryant product that he claimed to know and is getting paid for something that is not done.
