I went to possibly sell as well as appraise some cards I had. The cards were some various Pokmon cards a friend gave me that I didnt need nor want and I was given permission to sell them. The owner of the store is the one who helped me, **** ******. I had my friend with me who gave me permission to sell the cards, Mr. ****** was going through the cards and told us that two of the cards were fake when they were in fact not fake as one is worth a decent amount of money, and the other was just an older card. Which both cards were opened by my friend when he originally owned them. He placed them back into a tin, and held up the two items he had interest in and told both my friend and I that he would offer me $10. The items were a 23k gold plated Pokmon card with authenticity, and an unopened pack of cards. I accepted the offer, yet he did not have me sign any paperwork or ask to look at my state ID. He then proceeded to take the items he was not interested in, with the items he had interest in on a shelf behind his counter. I realized what he had done after I left, I walked in and asked him for my cards that werent of his interest. He refused to refund me and said, okay ****** thats not how things work.I later left and returned with a few other people to back my side if anything happened, I asked for my cards back that he took from me illegally and he threatened to call the police, and called me and my group an entourage.
