My ex-husband and I had to go to mediation for our legal parental agreement revisions. The issues I had were my ex-husband was not bathing our children for the 3 days he has them on the weekends, did not make the kids complete their homework when he had them and was not feeding them dinner. There were also issues with his girlfriend mentally abusing my children. I printed out all conversations/proof/emails and the mediator never cared to look at them. The mediator ********************* used very harsh and inappropriate language and radical examples such as "what do you want me to do if he doesn't do what he's supposed to, bring him behind the shed and beat the s*** out of him?!", "his girlfriend is a caretaker she's not responsible for disciplining them but for example if they call her a f****** b**** then yeah she can." My children were 4 and 6 years old and this wasn't even an issue that was even brought up, he just interjected a complete random radical situation. He also told me my ex was excused from bathing them, getting their homework done and feeding them before I picked them up for the weekend, I could do all that when I got home. After I reached out to request a 3rd session as we didn't get anything settled, compromised or figured out, the mediator ************************* decided mediation was pointless we needed co-parenting therapy and that he would send us a few therapists he recommends us using. When mediation is done, the mediator is supposed to file a report with the county and send a copy to our attorneys of the details of the mediation sessions and give his recommendations to the judge so that the judge/attorney are aware that we attended mediation (the 1st step) and the resolution if any so that we can proceed accordingly. ************************* never filed his report with the county and never sent anything to our attorneys. He also never sent us recommendations for co-parenting therapists either. A year Later I receive a bill for $511.31 from STG Divorce.
