Issue: A friend of mine transferred her membership service to me, for a one-time massage free of charge. When I scheduled the free service, I added an additional service for a facial. Both services were set for 60 minutes. I got the facial first and the massage immediately following. The massage began at 12:04 and completed at 12:54. I brought it to the cashier's attention that I was cheated out of 10 minutes. The employee responded saying, " she would let the massage therapist know and that I could get an add on for a future service." Per the receipt, the price adjustment reflects the transfer for the facial @ ***** and a charge of $80 for the massage. Facts: In speaking with the manager/****** on 3/18, I was told that regardless of what the receipt states, " I am not a member," so I had to pay the non-member rate, and so either way I would have paid $80. According to the brochure an additional service is only $70. Conclusion: The manager failed to rectify the situation and had a nasty attitude regarding my complaint she told me I had to account for taking my shoes off and getting undressed which deducted from my 60 minutes. I replied that I had never heard such a thing. The whole experience was awful. The itemized receipt shows I paid for the massage instead of the facial. The manager kept expressing to me that "I am not a member" however, the member (my friend) had to pay an additional $10 just to transfer the service.
