    On 6/12/24, my daughter, ******* (17) went to Nails by Mimi to have her nails done before a trip. After numerous mistakes over the course of two hours, **** (the owner) charged my daughter $70 for the service. She did a horrible job and *******, in tears, informed **** she felt that she should not have to pay since she would have to have them redone (which she did at another nail salon that same day). **** told her the best solution she could offer would be to refund her original $70 charge and re-charge her half price at $35. She charged my ********** for an additional $35 and never refunded the original $70 charge. I called **** directly about 30 minutes after *******'s interaction to discuss the situation and, after some discussion, she agreed to process a full refund of both charges. She then called my daughter and argued with her boyfriend over the quality of the service (while she was with a new nail tech) and she told her that her father must be racist. I am not racist and have never met ****. I also have not received a refund of any kind from this business. I'm hoping the BBB can help me recoup my $105 and help prevent this sort of experience from happening to future patrons of this business. Thank you, *******************************

    An attempt to delete that sale was made that same day of service. We have the *** company to look into it already. Though the complaint made about our business is not accurate, we will be reaching out to *********************************** directly for a refund if it for certain has not gone through.
