I went to the eye dr ************************ on 6-11-2021. They submitted to my medical insurance never asking for my eye insurance (eye med). I never received a paper bill stating that my claim was denied. On June 7,2024 I received a voicemail stating I owed $150. I paid $75, until I could look into this. Since it has been over 2 years I cant submit to my eye insurance company. I was never sent a statement through the us postal service, stating I had a balance. They claim they sent it and also to my email which I never received. No where on the document I signed does it state I didnt want to go through my eye insurance. I wanted medical first since I have dry eye. They are now sending me to collections and Im forced to get a lawyer based on their inability to provide a proper paper statement mailed through the us postal service. *** never heard of a business conducting business in this manner, waiting 2 years to leave a voicemail. Please advise. Id like a refund of my $75 and they should be held liable since they neglected to get my eye insurance information and submit it in a timely manner
