This first paragraph is not the problem but some background. The original transaction occurred on 10/10/22 when Mavis was paid to replace 4 tires on my 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe. On 10/13/22 I notified Mavis that they installed the wrong tires on my ***. I returned the *** to Mavis and station manager *** reviewed the tires on the *** and confirmed that the wrong tires were installed. *** ordered the correct tires and contacted me on 10/17/22 to schedule an appointment to have the new tires installed on my ***.This paragraph speaks to the actual problem. I scheduled an appointment with *** to have the correct tires installed on 10/17/22 at 1:00pm. I dropped off the vehicle at 1:00pm. No paperwork was provided since the service was being completed to resolve the error of the incorrect tires being installed on 10/10/22. The *** was ready around 2:05pm. The mechanic parked the vehicle in front of the building and I noticed that the bumper and side bumper on the driver side was damaged. Appeared the mechanic hit something. I immediately questioned the Mavis mechanic and ***. *** stated that he did not notice the damage but the mechanic states the damage was always there. *** reviewed the cameras however the only angle provided is the angle when the car entered the garage which shows the damage. There is no angle that shows the driver side of the vehicle prior to entering the ******** am certain that my *** was not damaged on the driver side prior to this incident. I conversed with *** who referenced the cameras but the cameras cannot speak to the mechanics movements in my *** prior to entering the garage. The logical thought is that the mechanic hit something prior to the *** entering the garage. I contacted the police to file a report and she asked *** for the paperwork that mechanics complete prior to moving the vehicle to acknowledge any preexisting damage however the paperwork was not completed.I am looking for Mavis to pay the cost to repair the bumper on my ***.
