      January 15th, 2024 we had a house fire. Servpro showed up that night, bad move on our part. Shouldve never got involved but felt needed help desperately. A couple weeks into the start, got to straightening out our mess, mitigation. Insurance wouldnt let us ** the place, appointed IV Construction for **. Check their record, its pretty bad. From there things went south. No response from **, no response from other trades, no timelines. Weeks advanced with little happening. One of his contractors , ****** ****, *******,**. scoped out my garage during my fireplace rip. Called constantly to ServPro on duty manager which appointed the swindlers. Servpro didnt show up for weeks at a time, sometimes 4-5 hours a week, some weeks nothing but dragging. ** showed up asking for $$$, gave $20800 to him thinking hed do something but got little. 6 months into the mess, I fired them. Did the ** work myself and hired real contractors to finish my home. This was a 3 month job, not 8 months. I wish I had said no to them. Servpro wont listen and they want $24000 for $2400 worth of work. They should go after IV Construction for their balance, not us. Or the insurance company can pay them directly. This is what happens when they do shoddy work from the start. Never again will we go through them, ever. Were still cleaning up their messes and the fire damage too, sad. For those who read this, spend the time reading reviews here before doing anything. Make sure youre not hiring crooks.
