      On June 29, 2023 I signed a contract with PaveBrite to clean * seal my patio for $2320. On July 6, 2023 I paid a deposit of $775. On July 19, 2023 the work was completed. *********** told me if I gave the technician **** a check, he would make sure the warranty would be sent out from the office right away. I gave the check for final payment of $1495 to ****. My instructions from the sales rep was to wait 3 days for sealant to cure. On Sunday, July 23,2023 I looked outside at my patio and saw a lot of large white blotches all over the patio. I called the rep to let him know about the problem. He was upset that I called him on a Sunday. I texted him photos * also videotaped the damage I was referring to in my texts. Several texts later, * still no one came to look at the problem nor call me to discuss, Meanwhile, my expensive lawn furniture that the technicians removed from patio to yard was still in yard. I called daily the Pavebrite Company, and left messages everyday. I also left texts everyday for Sales rep. I have consequently hired a professional company to repair the problem so I can have use of my patio. The repair has been completed. The costs to repair my patio was $1058. I still have had no contact from company nor warranty. I have many photos, texts from Sales Rep * ***** of damage. Unfortunately, I am having trouble downloading to my computer at this time.

      Greetings in regards to the ************************* complaint that can in September and was not processed duetoour emails being corrupted here is are reply on the matter . 
      We did provide some minor paver floor repairs and pressure washing applying polymeric sealer sand as an overlay and liquid sealer to her patio . To clarity the client did give the deposit prior to work starting, as for the balance it wasnt given at completion. The customer reached out to the main salesperson and stated she would not give a check due to a small 3x3 foot section was not sealed under a heavy piece of furniture. 
      The salesperson explained to her this would be a difficult object for one person to move and its best to work around it , but she wasnt happy with this . We then came out the next day carefully removed the larger heavy item and applied sealer to the small section, the check as then balance to the tech . We did make arrangements to move all of here other furniture prior . Please know this is not our normal procedure but the customer and her husband were elderly and not able to remove items on their own . 
      The sales rep did advise the customer to stay off of the patio for a day or two at most .

       We did advise that the patio was put in quite some time ago and most likely holds moisture underneath and also due to the trees and shaded areas . The few white blotches is normal efflorescence that sometimes occurs on older patios and nothing above the normal and nothing we did wrong . We explained to the customer the white blotches/efflorescence will go away on its own not to worry . 

      Next we were not contracted to put all the furniture back in place after drying time and we were not notified that she would be hiring another company, we believe that is not true as stated .  There is nothing that can be done for efflorescence its a normal occurrence that happens to patios at times . Lastly we did our part and explained to the customer every aspect. We kindly ask that you forward our position on this matter to the homeowner and close out the file.   I hope  you will provide our company with the A + status we had prior to this complaint so we can start our accreditation with the BBB asap .

      I paid you in full. I have 50 plus photos & paid receipt. Plus I have a video & texts to support my problem & lack of response from you. I have records of everyday that I called & left messages. You cannot dispute the facts & proof I have available for anyone to see.

      Hello in regards to the clients secondary response just as she stated she paid ** in full and we provided a receipt and all the work was completed satisfactory period . The fact remains we completed our projects and went above and beyond to come back and attend to a very small area for them with no extra charge. Next efflorescence is something that can occur on a patio that holds a lot of moisture underground, we cant control this period . Next efflorescence normally cant be removed with chemicals or strippers period , stating she had someone correct it we feel is false . Efflorescence works it way out usually over time this doesnt damage the bricks at all . We have provided our response to this matter and we would hope this is satisfactory to the BBB guidelines. Lastly we hope the BBB to review and allow us to regain A + status so we can finish filing our accreditation process.

      I am rejecting this response because: on the day of having sealer applied, the guy doing the sealer boxed himself into a corner & was unable to do a 4 x4 foot space on the patio. It was late, he was tired & asked me if he could come by next day to complete. He was not suppose to do this & was reprimanded for doing so. He came back & finished the sealer application. He told me to wait 3 days after the sealer was applied & dried before checking the patio. On Sunday, 3 days after the work was completed, I looked out to my patio & saw white blotches everywhere on my patio. I reached out to *********** to give him the news. He blasted me for interrupting his Sunday. I sent him a video of the damages to my patio on that day. He said he would come by to inspect. He never did. I called his office every day & left messages everyday. He never returned any of my calls. His associates said they gave him my messages. I paid regrettably by check in full because the salesman said no worries. Everything was covered with their warranty. But I had to pay that day in order for them to mail the warranty, which was supposed to be mailed to me that day. I never received the warranty. Nor did I receive a text or call from anyone in that office. I was given the office managers name ****** & service managers name ****** by a representative answering calls. I left messages for them as well. Still no one contacted me.

      I want reimbursement for the amount it cost me to have another company fix my patio.

      I have tried to send a video & it is too large . It is available for anyone to listen to. It describes in detail what I sent to the salesperson on Sunday.

      In the spring of 2021, I contacted PAVEBRITE out of ********* to repair my paver stoop and paver patio which had settled. The work was satisfactorily performed during the summer of 2021. Over the winter the stoop began to settle and separate again, creating a tripping hazard.So, in May of this year (2022) I contacted PAVEBRITE to have the stoop repaired again. To date, I have left numerous phone messages and texts but no one has responded to me to discuss the repair work.I strongly suggest that you NOT HIRE PAVEBRITE out of *********! They do not stand behind their work!

All of our repairs unfortunately only come with a normal 1 year warranty like most other reputable   companies. The issue he has having we are lead to believe is due to unnatural ground settling or weather issues from water entering some point . Our position on this matter stands we are not the original install company on this project. Please know  we do the best to our knowledge and capabilities when we attend to repairs especially on projects that are of age . All of our brick techs are certified and very knowledgeable. We did tell the customer we can repair it for a fee and possibly discounted thats as much as we can offer .

      My complaint is primarily that they never responded to my numerous calls or text messages. MY COMMENTS ARE IN CAPS BELOW.

ORIGINAL REPAIR WAS 6/8/21.All of our repairs unfortunately only come with a normal 1 year warranty like most other reputable   companies. The issue he has having we are lead to believe is due to unnatural ground settling or weather issues from water entering some point .HOW DO THEY KNOW THIS? THEY NEVER CAME OUT TO LOOK AT THE ISSUE. Our position on this matter stands we are not the original install company on this project. Please know  we do the best to our knowledge and capabilities when we attend to repairs especially on projects that are of age .       Our position on this manner is as we sent prior we cannot yet again, put a lengthy warranty on a project that was not originally built by our company. We yet again offer a discounted rate to come back out and attend to his *********** again. If that is not satisfactory to the customer, he should reach out to his original installer.

      I never talked to them about doing repairs under a warranty. They never responded to my calls and texts requesting a meeting. Their response is a smoke screen. They chose not to investigate the situation and were unresponsive. I will find someone else to do the work.
