    Dutch Barn does not even deserve 1 star, that is how bad they are. We contracted with them in September 2024 for a pool and gave them a down payment of $25,000. Prior to any work being started we noticed some issues that gave us enough concern to cancel the project: 1.) their outsourced engineer was holding the final drawing due to lack of payment by Dutch Barn and 2.) we received a *** lien notice from a law firm against Dutch Barn. We spoke with the owner of Dutch Barn, ******** ******, and he lied, told us to ignore law firm. We told him we were cancelling project and wanted a refund of the monies paid. He stated he would review the administrative work completed to date, provide us a list of expenses, deduct the expenses and refund the balance. That never happened and now ******* will not take any calls from us or respond to emails. We have now had to hire an attorney. We have had a couple people tell us that Dutch Barn is having financial problems and has several liens against them, not just the one we were notified about. ******** should not be allowed to conduct business, he continues to lie to people and he is a fraud.

    From start to finish this company has been amazing. The sales staff are talented, the office is on the ball and the outside workers are extremely talented. When I had a question I would call the office and someone would stop by to go over my question or addition to the project. I HIGHLY recommend Dutch Barn!

    Do not recommend. Respect and management is completely missing. Some good people scattered amongst them, but overall, terrible experience.
