    I live in a high rise building and Reliable Building Systems, Inc. was hire to do the tuckpointing. Doing the course of them working outside my windows with their drilling they crack the glass. I wrote them a letter and never received a respond, I am seeking help from you to get them to paid me for the cost of replacing the glass in my Window.

    We are an exterior wall restoration/repair contractor. Our firm is contracted with ********************** Association to assist with inspections and perform exterior wall repairs at the building located at *************************************. Our crews use swing stages to access inspection locations at the exterior of the building and to perform our repair work. Prior to repair work commencing at a given drop location, the Architect rides our swing stage to note existing conditions prior to our firm performing any repair work.


    On July 13, 2022, the Architect rode our board to inspect Drop W2 prior to repair work commencing. The Architect noted a previously existing cracked/broken window (EXH 1) at a 25th floor unit. In his letter dated August 18, 2022 received via regular ***** the claimant states that our firm broke this same window the following day - on July 14, 2022 - when our work began (EXH 2), a day after the Architect reported that this window was broken prior to our firm starting any repair work.


    Further, his complaint to the BBB states that we did not reply to his letter. We do not have a contract with each individual unit owner.These are high-rise buildings, usually with hundreds of residents. Our Contract is through the Association via the property management firm. We sent an immediate response to the property manager on August 22, 2022. (EXH 3)


    The property manager informed us that she did contact him regarding our email response to her.
    In short, as shown by the initial inspection report prior to our firm beginning any repair work on this drop, this window was an existing cracked window.
