    Paul Davis Restoration by my insurance company was recommended after having a house fire at my rental property. The company has had access to and been slowly working on my home since the end of November 2022 or beginning of December 2022. Originally, I was told the project would take approximately 90 days. It has now been almost 2 years and my home repairs are still not finished. I had at least 3 different project managers. I have been really patient with the employees, but they continue to take their time. My home sat with the kitchen and utility room gutted for many months. It is always an excuse and they are always waiting on the next person/company to come and work on a certain part of the home. They recently have been slowly working on the home probably due to my complaints. My insurance covered part of the expenses and I paid out of pocket for some building code plumbing and electrical work. Even after paying to get those things done, they have still been in no hurry to complete the project. It is ridiculous that it takes 2 years to remodel a kitchen and utility room as well as paint and clean floors. They also tried to give me a $125 budget on a ceiling fan and light fixture when the unit price in the provided estimate description was $337.31. I really need my property to be finished before the end of this month. If I knew that it would take this long and they would outsource all of the work, I would not have agreed to go with this company.

    There have been several delays on this particular project that were out of our control and weren't originally expected including electrical code upgrades, plumbing code upgrades and roofing repairs that were not part of our scope. The original project manager left our organization and Ms. ****** has had the same PM since February and the project has been moving forward since that point. Cabinets were installed last week which was the last major obstacle as we were waiting for them to be installed to get measurements for the countertops. Ms. ****** has been made aware of these processes and communication has been documented. She is more than welcome to contact her PM with further questions and updates.

    I would like to set a deadline for the project to be completed. Yes, communication has happened recently because I am constantly going to my property and calling to see what will be done to move this project along. It has been right at two years which is unacceptable.

    Counter tops are in. The electrician finished his part this week as well. Tuesday and Wednesday ****** will install water heater and sink. Waiting on confirmation for HVAC. **** ****** has been in communication with homeowner.
