      My name is *************************** and I purchased a home in *********** il. ***** in March of 2024. I used this company for the home inspection. Once the settlement was over we moved in and within two weeks we had a flood. I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS AND SO i PURCHASED GUTTER GUARDS AND HAD ALL THE GUTTERS DEVERTED AWAY FROM THE HOME. long story short all seemed to be okay. I had someone that was going to finish the bedroom in the basement that was almost finished . when the old insulation was removed( this is styraform insulation) that is when I found out what the real problem was. There was two very large cracks going thru the entire wall on two sides of my home. Had someone come in and it is going to cost me over ****** dollars to reaffirm the structual strength of these walls. But going thru the inspection report it says only about a small crack on the other side of the home and everything else was fine. I want that since the inspector didnt do his job and let that pass without telling me ,he should be made to pay for this cost. Also he put on the inspection page that the furnace was unacceable and it was not inspected but the furnace sits right at the end of the stairs to the basement with nothing blocking an inspection.
