  Agency Review: Golden Surrogacy Perspective: Gestational Carrier I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The Golden team was always a text or phone call away. They made me feel like family and I could always talk to someone 24/7. I couldnt have asked for a better IP match. We clicked on every level and I feel spoiled with how well my first journey has gone! Hands down would recommend!

  Golden Surrogacy and its owners **** and ***** Golden put their economic interest above IPs basic needs. They totally lack human decency: Golden Surrogacy literally screwed me over. The agency promised me a match within 3 - 4 months but only presented a surrogate candidate after 9 months. I could have lived with that. But then the agency pressured me into matching with the possible candidate within 24 hours after one match call on which I wasnt even allowed to use the video function to see her. When I asked for more time to get a better picture of the candidate they started to threaten me to terminate my contract. When I made the request for a personal meeting with the possible candidate before making my decision Golden Surrogacy literally threw me of the contract. I lost ****** USD. All within 5 days after they made me wait 9 months. Ive never heard back from them since. The way Golden Surrogacy dehumanises the complexity of a journey that should be about joy and mutual respect for the parties involved is unspoken. If you are looking for an agency that treats you with respect and decency this is not the right agency to embark on this journey. Please feel free to contact me.   In response to this review, I first want to convey that **** and I greatly value and appreciate feedback from all Intended Parents and Surrogates for whom we have the awesome privilege of guiding on these surrogacy journeys. We have made this our lifes work, and we care deeply about all parties involved. Golden Surrogacy has always strived to deliver great customer service, while also upholding our ethical responsibilities to the surrogacy process at large, given the extreme sensitivity of these matters. For complete transparency, I will provide a summary of the situation and explain why this Intended Parent was terminated from Golden Surrogacys program.Summary:******* is a single, male, international Intended Parent, living outside of *****************. Matching Intended Parents with these demographics can sometimes take a little longer. Additionally, ******* provided a list of only 9 states from which he would accept a surrogate from, and he also requested that she be single. Most surrogates who apply are married. This further decreases the candidate pool. ******* was quoted a matching timeline goal of 3-6 months, outlined in his orientation recap email.Despite the many unique matching challenges presented, the team was still able to recruit and pre-screen a wonderful candidate by the 6-month goal. ******** orientation was in December 2023, and the medical records for his candidate were sent to his clinic for review in June 2024. She met all our Enhanced Surrogate Criteria, all of ******** matching preferences, as a bonus had surrogacy-friendly health insurance, and was also granted preliminary clinical approval based on her records. Most importantly, we also verified she was enthusiastic about ******** profile and demographics.Termination Reasons:The match call went very well. The surrogate was excited and agreed to move forward with next steps. ******* was granted multiple days to contemplate his decision, or to request a follow-up video meeting between him and the surrogate. This is a standard part of our process. Instead, he insisted on flying to the United States (without providing a timeline) to meet the surrogate before signing a match sheet, which is against agency policy. Personal contact information is never exchanged prior to the signing of a match sheet. We explained the match sheet is not the surrogacy contract but is rather a letter of intent. This is necessary to protect all parties involved, and to respect everyones commitment to the process. It was also explained to ******* that he would have the opportunity to meet the surrogate in-person at the screening appointment, prior to starting the legal contract drafting stage. It is always encouraged by Golden Surrogacy that all parties meet face-to-face at the in-person clinical screening appointment, which takes place before legal agreements are drafted. This is an important component to matching.******* refused to adhere to standard matching protocols. Many emails were then exchanged to reiterate the process, and to alleviate any concerns he may have had. Program managers and agency ownership personally conducted meetings with ******* to apologize for any misunderstanding and to offer a way forward within guidelines. ******* became very combative, disrespectful, and began using harsh profanity in every interaction.******** behavior and actions gave great cause for concern that he may treat this surrogate or a future surrogate with the same level of disrespect, and hatred. Golden Surrogacy has the ethical obligation to protect our surrogates from harm and to reject facilitating unstable arrangements. Ultimately, ******** conduct presented a safety and mental health red-flag. The very difficult decision was made to terminate our service agreement with him.**** and I sincerely wish ******* all the best.   I absolutely loved working with Golden Surrogacy. It always felt that they had everyone's best interest in mind and never left a question unanswered. Everyone was beyond kind, supportive, and informative. They made the process more understandable and flow easily and they were always very encouraging! Would not even think of using a different agency!

  Golden surrogacy was the only agency that didn't make me feel like a number. Every employee that I talked to there made me feel at ease and so comfortable with my decision to become a surrogate. They treat you like family. If you have any doubts about becoming a surrogate, they will make sure you are completely comfortable and excited about making your decision. Every step of the way was so easy and that is because of Golden. You will not regret your decision to go with this agency either as a surrogate or intended parent. I 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone. You won't be disappointed with this life changing decision!

  I highly recommend going through Golden. As a first time surrogate, I didnt know what to expect or how to do anything. Golden was there every step of the way. If they didnt have an answer they would find out and get back to me. I didnt feel like I was going through an agency. I received hand written cards and flowers that had the sweetest heart felt words. The owner is part of the team as well which makes the journey feel more personal. I highly recommend using this agency whether youre wanting to do Surrogacy or Welcome a child. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.
