Akash ************** or *****, providing plumbing services under the name of "Superior Rooter and Drain LLC located at: *********************************************, I approached them to relocate the sewer line clean out of the house three feet from the building, while they were going to dig the area I asked to seal the crack on the outside wall and root out the sewer line to city main: ***** ****** accepted to warranty their work for three years initially, but later he denied the entire conversation when I agreed to proceed with the ******* mistake was that I trusted him and did not get a signed written contract from him.All along while ***** and one other person who were digging the ground, I kept reminding them the clean out would be three feet from the building and to make sure to seal the crack on the wall with hydro cement. They kept telling me we take care of you, but what they meant was they were take care of themselves. During the rooting the sewer line they said their rooter is not strong enough to clear the line and I need to pay them %35 extra to root the line with hydro jet.I recommend to getting the extent of work in writing and signed that from Superior Rooter and Drain to prevent the following incidents to accrue, and do not pay forward, pay when the job is done to your satisfaction: 1.Unconventional approach to the job: Superior Rooter and Drain proposed to seal the wall exactly where they were digging the ground to relocate the clean out.2.Installing the clean-out where it was discussed: Install the clean-out where it was discussed originally not in a misguided effort to facilitate their work.3.Providing a clear sewer line that was the main Goal: Superior Rooter and Drain irreparably left the job without providing a clear sewer rout.4.Payment Discrepancies: exhibited unprofessional conduct regarding payment, by asking extra for clearing sewer line for an extended period of time.Business Response

Hello, **** Rad.
Let me address your complaints, you stated you were happy with services.
You asked us to seal a crack while were doing the excavation, we did do this. I have pictures as proof. You can also see the new tar from the outside above the ground.
The Clean out repair we did was 3 feet long, just the access point is in the middle of the repair. This we have pictures for as well.
You were on site while my team did the excavation.
You decided not to want a permit from the city of ********, would you like us to tell them we did a job with no permit and see what they want to do as well?
Hydro jetting was never included only rodding the line, which we did. We also have pictures of this as well.
Just because you want everything included does not mean we have to do so.
We kept our word on everything and now you want to defame us online BBB and Yelp.
You can call me. If you want to solve this issue.
You will not be getting any refund what so ever.
Your YELP NAME of ******* *. Does not match your name here, and also you gave us anther name while making your service request. What is your real name?
Akash

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely see following,I am writing to formally address the concerns outlined in your correspondence dated May ******, regarding the work performed by ***** and his colleague at my property.
From the outset, I have been dissatisfied with the execution of the job performed by your team based on our verbal agreement. Upon completion of our agreement you received $1,000 payment as your commission, and ***** and his colleague after spending only three hours on-site received another $2,000.00 that was given to *****. My concerns were made clear during that three hours specifically regarding the location the clean-out was installed and sealing the basement wall that was already excavated. ***** had assured me that hydro jetting would be conducted to address the line issue before he was compensated with the full $2,000. Regrettably, my trust in this operation and its participants has been misplaced as the job remains unresolved.
During their brief tenure at my property, I repeatedly requested that the clean-out be installed three feet from the exterior north wall and that the crack in the basement wall be sealed. However, despite my insistence, ***** maintained that the basement wall was not part of the sewer system; thus, they refused to address it. Furthermore, the clean-out was installed merely one foot from the building's exterior wall, primarily for the convenience of the team. This choice was ill-advised, given that the installation could have been adhered to my specifications with only minor adjustments, since 2.5 feet of cast iron sewer line was removed (attached are photographic evidences of both the clean-out and the cast iron pipe) the clean-out could be installed within three feet of the wall.
Moreover, despite my requests over the course of five months, you have failed to provide the promised photographs demonstrating the repair of the cracked wall and the location of the clean-out.
I also seek clarification regarding the permit for this project. I understand you opted to proceed without obtaining the necessary permit, citing an urgency to complete the work in an enclosed area. This decision raises significant concerns about compliance with regulatory standards.
It was communicated to me by ***** that hydro jetting was as a substitute for properly rooting out the line due to the inadequacy of your equipment. Notably, when your team returned two weeks later, they refused to utilize the hydro jet available to them and insisted on using the same worn-out rooting machine, which proved difficult for them to operate.
As there has been no warranty provided for the installation of the clean-out, I feel compelled to inform potential customers of my unsatisfactory experience with your services. If you acknowledge the shortcomings of your work, I urge you to return to my property to properly root out the sewer line using hydro jetting as initially promised and location the clean-out as was originally decided.Additionally, please provide the photographs that were mentioned in your response concerning the location of the clean-out and the repairs executed on the basement wall.
It is troubling that not only have you failed to deliver the promised evidence of your work, but there has been no proposal for resolution offered in your letter. Moreover, the absence of a specified expiration date for the 72-hour warning adds to my frustration.
I look forward to your prompt attention to these matters.

Dear client.
This email is in response to your recent communication. We want to clearly outline the services that were provided.
As we stated, our agreement included the installation of a cleanout, which has been completed. We also identified and fixed a crack that was beyond the initial scope of work, and this was addressed as discussed. Your sewer line was rodded on two separate occasions to clear blockages.
It's important to note that hydro jetting was never part of the agreed-upon services and is an additional service with a separate charge. Regarding the permit, you elected not to obtain one, which was a decision made at your discretion.
We want to be clear that we will not be providing any further services free of charge. We also note that final payment was rendered, indicating your acceptance that the agreed-upon work was completed to your satisfaction.
However, to reach an amicable resolution, we would like to offer the following options:
1. ********************** We can perform hydro jetting on an hourly basis, which includes a camera inspection from start to finish. The cost for this service is $750 per hour, with a minimum of two hours. This price includes the time for setup and cleanup.
2. We will re dig up your clean outside to move it your ideal want. Which is 3 feet from the house .You will pay for all parts and have them on site. There are the options I offer.Either option will need a contract. If you like a permit. You are responsible for all cost according to this as well.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:This letter is in respond to an ongoing concern with the services provided by Superior Rooter and Dain.
This correspondence serves as a formal response to the deficiencies outlined in Superior Rooting and Drain previous communications, particularly regarding the failure to meet contractual obligations as per the verbal agreements made.
The primary expectations of the parties included the following:
1) - Relocate sewer line clean-out located in basement to outside three feet from the buildings exterior wall.
2)- Sealing of a crack in the exterior basement wall that was leaking and compromised due to sewer line damage.
3)-Root out clogged sewer line from building to Village main sewer.
4)- Provision of a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship, ensuring no further sewer line damage or blockage would occur.
It is of significant concern that the required Village Permit was not obtained prior to commencing the work, which constitutes a breach of local regulations.Evidence supporting these claims, including photographs detailing the work performed, and is attached for reference.
Specifically, the team from Superior Rooter and Drain, represented by individuals known as ***** and his colleague, executed cutting 30 inches of the sewer line from the building and approximately four feet below the ground, but neglected to install the clean-out as stipulated three feet from the building. Furthermore, they failed to address the sealing of the basement wall. Despite assurances to believe these matters would be resolved, which ultimately did not transpire.
Moreover,***** ******, acting as the intermediary for Superior Rooter and Dain, failed to fulfill his obligations under the verbal contract, taking a commission of $1,000. Before completion of the job, Mr. ****** did not responded to my pleas for rectification of the outstanding issues that day.
I repeatedly reminded ***** and his colleague regarding the need to seal the basement wall and install the clean-out as agreed three feet distance, were met with vague reassurances of ************ of You. Additionally, persistent issues arose concerning the functionality of the rooter, which was insufficient for the task at hand. I was advised to consult Mr. ****** for a more effective hydro jet service, yet he returned with the same inadequate equipment that ultimately failed to complete the necessary work as was promised with hydro jet.
Given these circumstances, it is my position that Superior Rooter and Dain is liable for failing to uphold their end of the contract while receiving substantial compensation amounting to $3,000. The lack of compliance with the agreed terms constitutes grounds for breach of contract.
Should the Better Business Bureau be unable to facilitate the resolution of these issues,I am prepared to take further action to ensure that Superior Rooter and Dainare held accountable for their business practices.
I urge you to address this matter with the seriousness it warrants. I expect a prompt response outlining your proposed course of action to resolve these issues amicably.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:Unfortunately,Superior Rooter and Drain, in last seven month has ignoring and is not honoring the contract agreement that was made with me in December 2024. In their last three response to my complaint they constantly requesting addition fee to finish the work as was agreed initially in December 0f 2024.
Unfortunately, they are not a trust worthy company or business to do business with, they take the money and run, without any respect to their commitment to the job as was promised and agreed, and instead they run as soon as they get paid in full.
I have no respect to their representative ***** ****** and the two others who stayed anonymous and took the pay and run with the hope to get pay extra to complete the job as was original intended, instead kept biting around the bushes. It is very sad to see business as such. Hopefully the luck will run out one day.
Sad part is that Better Business Bureau, keep these types of business on board as long as they pay their due and cheat the consumers.
Sincerely,
****** *********-rad
