    The owner is I believe a coke addict, which clearly affects his decision making when it comes to his business. He used to and possibly still does go into his businesses at night to take money for drugs. He hires his friends and family and lets them do whatever they want. He closed another location pretty much because the employees were not his friends or family and he was doing a poor job of running it. They have inferior inventory because of the owner's poor decisions and lose business because of the apathetic employees they decide to keep over hardworking and knowledgeable ones.
