I am rejecting this response because: the business indicates that I have opened a case with them and it has been settled.  I'm not even sure what this means.  I did dispute the charge with my credit card company, but that investigation is still listed as pending. If the business would like to settle this, they can either refund my money directly or they can notify my credit card that they do not dispute the claim so that my money is permanently refunded.

    Sincerely,

*** ***********mediately diagnosed the burnt-out battery and unplugged it for safety. For $500 he replaced the battery, returning April 23 to complete the work. I wanted to understand what went wrong with USA Plumbing, so I called numerous times to give them the opportunity to make things right. I called April 23, 25 and 29. I was told that it would be $800 to fix but they kept promising a writeup that they never sent. Finally, I told them that I had already had the work done and I wanted my $75 refunded. They told me that a service call ordinarily costs $175 but he had charged me less (they could not explain why). They said it didn't matter if he couldn't diagnose--I was not entitled to a refund because the cost covered his travel time and expense. I explained that the purpose of a service call was to diagnose the problem -- since he misdiagnosed it and would not provide an estimate to do the work, the call was of no value. They declined to refund my money.

When I responed on 5/21/25 that it was settled with the credit card company, they already debited our account for the $75.00. I don't know how long it takes the customers credit card company to adjust her account. She should contact her credit card company if she did not recieve it. (see attached)

THEY CAME IN MY BUSINESS AND STOLE A WATER HEATER. THEY ARE SENDING US MESSAGES TO PICK IT UP FOR ***** DOLLARS OR THEY WILL THROW IT AWAY. THE **** AT ** AND MAKE FUN OF THE PROBLEM. WE CALLED THE POLICE AND THEY SAID THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THEY DO THIS BUT WE HAVE TO TAKE THEM TO COURT TO GET IT RESOLVED. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

The call came in thru our emergency service line at night on 3/11/25, that they needed the water heater removed (picture attached). The call was returned, they stated that they needed the hot water heater removed tonight because a new one was being delivered on 3/12/25. The gentleman was quoted $1000.00 to remove it, which was agreed upon. Technicians were dispatched to the property at ************************************************ which was a Pizzeria and they arrived at 9:08pm. The techs disassembled the water heater and removed it. There was no running water to that unit, it was cut-off. The technicians left the premises at 11:10pm. We did not steal the hot water heater nor have we ever had any dealings with the Chicago police **** for anything. They were informed that they needed to pay for the services performed after hours and could pick up the water heater if they wanted it, we would not deliver it to them. Payment needs to be by cash or cashier's check. Since, the services were never paid for and the water heater wasn't stolen from him, we will not be returning the water heater or refunding any monies to Mr. ***** If he pays for the services performed, he can pick up his water heater at our warehouse. I believe Mr. **** is the tenant at that property.

Company sent me an invoice for work they did not do. This company was contracted through my home warranty company, American Home Shield. They did not show up for an appointment. I was forced to purchase my own part and I hired an outside plumber because they didnt show up for appointment. I called the plumbing company to inquire where the plumber was, the young lady, who answered the phone, told me oh, there was a scheduling mixup, and that she would call me back. She never did. They have sent me a bill for $135 stating that they want payment for an install they did not do. This was also reported to the home warranty company.

    Good Morning,

********************************* had a claim with her home warranty company, we diagnosed the issue on 4/2/24,  the hot water heater was denied for replacement  and the customer was offered a cash out settlement on her claim with them on 4/3/2024 for the sump pump and accepted the cash out on 4/4/24. This allowed her to purchase her own part(s) and have them installed. The warranty company replaces parts with only builders grade per the contract and the customer refused to have us install a builders grade pump until she spoke with her warranty company.  We have not sent her an invoice for any amount and do not have any open receivables in our system for her. She even completed the survey with 5 stars on 4/12/24. Please close this file as the customer does not owe us anything pertaining to her warranty claim#XXXXX9868.

    Thank you,

Water damage caused by a *** *********************************************** plumber In mid-May, we scheduled an appointment to fix two problems:1. Hot water pressure low in the kitchen sink faucet 2. Leak in the bathroom sink.**** came out and said we needed a new cartridge on the kitchen sink (without even taking anything apart), and needed to get a new faucet in the bathroom.Once those parts came in, we contacted **** to try and schedule the follow-up appointment. His voicemail box was full, so we reached out to your company again. **** was not available, so they scheduled an appointment for *** to do the work on Wednesday, May 31.*** replaced the cartridge in the kitchen and the bathroom faucet. He replaced one of the hoses under the bathroom faucet. The water pressure in the kitchen sink hadn't improved at all. He explained that it was because we had galvanized pipes, although I thought we had copper pipes. He showed me in the basement where one part of a pipe was galvanized. *** gave me an invoice and said we didn't owe anything for the work.On Saturday, June 3, I opened the door under the bathroom sink and noticed a substantial amount of water. The floor inside the vanity and the wood floor in front had both buckled. It took a half-dozen towels to soak up all the water that had leaked. The company offered to send *** out that day, but I opted to wait until Monday and get a different person out to take care of it.**** came on Monday, June 5. He replaced the second hose under the bathroom sink, which it turned out had caused the leak (did we even need a new faucet?). He also said the galvanized pipe *** pointed out wasn't related to our sink at all and showed me that we do, indeed, have all copper piping from the kitchen sink.FYI, I have photos of the damage, both inside the vanity and on the floor in front of it.I would like them to replace the vanity floor and the bathroom floor, or cover the costs of a contractor I hire.

In reference to complaint # ********
The customers called into the office on 5/1/23 and scheduled an appt for 5/2/23 for low water pressure  on  her hot water and the bath 1st floor sink was leaking.
**** was dispatched to diagnose the problem of the kitchen sink and the most common problem with low pressure on a sink is the cartridge, the bathroom faucet was also leaking, it was a **** faucet and **** warranties their products for life.  The customer was charged a service call fee of $150.00 for the trip charge and diagnosis. She would contact the manufacturer, order the parts and call when they came in, the charge quoted for installing the cartridge and faucet was  $350.00 when they come back. The customer called on 5/26/23 that she had the parts and scheduled an appt for 5/31/23. *** was dispatched to install the cartridge and **** faucet. The customer did not pay $350 that was due. Technicians check there work and one of the supply lines were leaking after installing the faucet, so he also replaced  the supply line that was leaking after installing the faucet. If the other supply line was leaking when the tech tested the faucet, he would not have left it that way. Why would he change one leaking line and not the other. The original call on 5/1/23 was for a leaking faucet, so this faucet was leaking from ?? until noticed by the customer on 5/1/23 and until the warranty parts came in and were installed on 5/31/23. So the faucet was leaking for a whole month into the vanity and on the floor. She said she noticed a lot of water in the vanity and on the floor on June 3rd, if it was leaking that much water, I my opinion the water would be seen on the floor sooner. We offered to send the plumber out the same day and she chose to wait for a different plumber to be available on 6/5/23. The buckling of the vanity and floor had water leaking for a month or more and was not was not caused by the supply line. The customer did not pay for the ******************** provided and we will not be replacing her vanity and or floor.

Tech originally came out to my residence on March 13, 2023 to inspect leaky booster pump. Was told it would take a week for a new one to arrive. No follow up for 2 weeks, and finally I called. Went back and forth for a week before someone finally told me the pump would not arrive until the end of April. Received an installation notification for May 1st. Plumber no showed. Called the off they rescheduled for May 3rd. Plumber no showed. I called again. They rescheduled for May 4th. No Showed. Called again to complain and figure out a resolution. They promised plumber would be out on Saturday, May 6th and I would be the first stop of the day. Again no call no show from the plumber for the company. They still have yet to contact me for follow up on installation. They delays of well over a month have cause additional damage in my basement of drywall and framing.

Filed a claim with home warranty company. *** Plumbing was dispatched and came out on February 27th 2023. Three issues: 1 toilet keeps running 2 kitchen faucet hose leaking and 3 bathroom faucet broken. ******* came out and diagnosed issues and submitted to HWC. HWC approved toilet and kitchen faucet but denied bathroom faucet. I was told that the bathroom faucet would cost me $120 but other two items would be covered by HWC. I agreed to repairs. I purchased the two faucets, kitchen and bathroom. Plumber came out on March 4th and performed the repairs. The plumbing company for some unknown reason doesn't think the repairs were completed. I have tried to pay them their $120 and get a receipt for the work that was performed. The two ladies who answer the phone are extremely rude and argumentative. I never had an issue with a company who fought not to get paid for their work. A second claim with them is also contested now. I have uploaded two documents: 1 the original diagnosis by their plumber showing the three items needing attention and 2 my credit card payments showing I paid the service charge my HWC requires (there are two payments showing for $65 each as there were two claims being handled by *** Plumbing and they claimed I did not pay the service charge). The address for the company on their invoices is a false address. I went to the *********, ** address on the paperwork to try and reason with them and there is no such company there. I want to get a receipt for the repairs completed and pay them their $120 for replacing the bathroom faucet. I would like the owner, *****, to get in touch with me personally.Thank you,*********************

02/13/22 I had *** Plumbing replace under ground pipes for me twice in 2022. The first time was in February of 2022 at a cost of $7,******. The area of piping in February that was replaced was (or so I was told at the time) was from the yard to the end of my property within the backyard. ***** had sent me pictures at the time of the dig, so I felt comfortable with the work that had be performed. In December 2022 I began having the same plumbing issues that I had experienced prior to the dig in February of 2022. *** plumbing came out to assess the problem and placed a camera to see if they could find out what the problem was. I asked to see the pictures from their assessment and was told that the pictures were not clear due to the water. So, I never received a copy of the requested scope of the pipes. The second dig was completed 12/19/22 for $5******. On February 13, 2023, I experienced the same plumbing issue AGAIN and called *** plumbing. Another company replace the pipes in another part of the yard two years prior to *** plumbing coming out, so at this point ALL of the underground piping had been replaced. . *** plumbing was prompt about sending a plumber out the day that I called on February 13th,2023. This is a rental property so my tenant was at the property. She called me because the plumber had told he that the problem was with the city plumbing and that water was coming up in the alley. He then changed the story and said that all of the under ground plumbing would need to be replaced and that it would cost $20,******. Out of concern the tenant called me do that I could speak with the plumber. He repeated the $20, ****** quote. He had not placed a camera or anything before making an assessment. When questioned about how he came to the conclusion, he began to yell at me and my tenant. When I called the office to inform them of his behavior they called him and of course sided with him. I feel duped out of thousands of dollars and treated with disregard.

In reference to case# ********, *** Plumbing and Sewer did a spot repair to 2 different sections of ********************** line one in February (attachment) and another in December of 2022,  one was approximately 6' near the alley easement in the backyard and the other was a pipe repair of approximately 4- 6' and installation of a cleanout by the foundation in the rear of the home. The clay ********************** lines were repaired with PVC. This was not a replacement of her complete ********************** line, the backyard was not dug up from her foundation in the back of her home all the way to the alley. The replacements were only a section of pipe in each area. The customer called in February that the tenant at her property was having a backup again. The tech went out to assess the situation, when he performed a main line rod (at no cost to the customer or *******) from the installed cleanout closest to the back of the house to the inside of the home the line was loaded with toilet paper and roots causing the clog. The tenant was informed that they cannot keep using an over abundance of toilet paper per flush or this is going to keep happening. There is a big tree in the backyard that the tree roots are also compromising the rest of the ********************** line in the yard between the two cleanouts and tree roots were observed in the home's ********************** line.  We apologize for any disregard that our staff may have made you feel, that was never our intention, we take our customers' concerns seriously. The tech that was on site was actually the tech that did the 2nd repair, so he was familiar with the property. In reference to the quote for $20,000, our techs do not quote pricing for repairs, I believe it was a miscommunication in reference to the conversation about the complete line being repaired, what he was trying to convey was it would have cost over $20,000 to replace the complete ********************** line in the yard and that is not what was paid or done. If you would like to get another camera inspection on your line from cleanout to cleanout in yard and from cleanout outside by foundation to the inside of the home to access the other issues going on, we would be happy to assist. Our goal is to make our customers happy and satisfied, not upset and stressed.

I had *** plumbing come look at my leaking disposal on Tuesday Jan 17 2023. They are the contracted plumber I had to use as it was claim filed thru my home warranty company, HWA. The tech determined the disposer had failed and came back to replace the disposer on Jan 18 2023. I had to pay a service fee of $100, the rest was covered under warranty. Immediately, after the tech left we noticed there was a water leak coming from the section of pipe the tech had replaced. I tried to text the tech to come fix it, he never responded or came to repair his work. I then filed a claim with the warranty company after not hearing back from the tech or plumbing company on Jan 29. I had an appointment set for Feb 3 for the tech to come and fix the issue. The time has come and gone. The company wont talk to me on the phone or address this failed repair. All I want is for them to come repair a problem the created. Is that too much to ask??
